So it's only a conspiracy when you say it is. Ok.
Your comment applies to you as well.....
Pot meet kettle.

That's what I was referencing.....Does Goodell has the brass ones big enough to try to discipline him?????Well he can if he wants to...

Whether it was the Nflpa or Brady making the request the request was made by/for Brady. They did first ask him to appear in person then by phone. The circumstances certainly would have permitted him toI remember that the NFLPA requested Kraft attend via phone. I couldn't find anything stating Brady requested him to. It's a NESN link in case anyone hates them too.
Report: Robert Kraft Wrote Statement In Support Of Tom Brady’s Character

Thanks for the ad hominum attack. Try reading your original sentence aloud, it makes no sense... As for my comment ( which was liked by 5 people- so I guess you tell me) it was reflective of me as an individual fan giving my opinion of how his actions have not been consistent in support of his franchise quarterback, vacillating between supporting Brady and the Commissioner. Kraft doesn't have to show me anything but if he wants the fans support, he needs to be consistent.....
Not when Kraft's actions directly impact the football game we watch in terms of a player's suspension being upheld or overturned. That affects the quality of the game we watch or not....He doesn't need to be anything.....watch football or not.....either way the rest is pure noise
Woah did Krafty Bob come through after all? Need a summary on what this means from some of the brainiacs here.
You forgot the "surrounded by sycophants"....He's part Captain Queeg and part the warden from Shawshank......and we know how he ended up....I really don't know. Goodell has skirmishes and battles on many fronts these days. He would be wise to let Bob have his day, hope to win in court and have words with Bob in private.
Thats what he should do. I think Goody is a narcissistic, selfish, insensitive, pathological liar so I guess that makes him capable of anything.

Goodie just carries water for the owners. There's seriously no other rational explanation to keep one of the most despised people in the entire country in his position in the midst of basically never-ending scandals where the league comes off looking ridiculous every single time.
In fact, I think he's really just a dapper, bumbling nincompoop and that's exactly what the owners want.
C'mon IC, even you can admit some consistency would be nice.
"We demand an apology."
"Ending the rhetoric" + hugs and hob knobbing.
"Wrong to put my trust in the league."
"Goodell is doing a great job." "The lawyers..."
Latest brief.
He's all over the place, but I'm leaning towards he's bs with the entire NFLFO after green lighting that brief. Problem is, based on past actions, he could be seen laughing it up over coffee in NY with Goody any day. Or he could legitimately have decided enough is enough, I'm holding out hope that the latter is true, and we see some evidence of it at some point.

Quite possibly, but so what are we here for the football or the owners?
As I have said, I saw the kind of person Kraft is back during his stadium agenda.....he's got watered down values and is the same narcissist with the rest of them
All things considered, I am still glad he's the owner of the pats and not the jets
I'm of Irish ancestry. That's all of it.I'm not convinced .... You need to show me more
Really? Well, lets look:
So your point here is that Kraft might have done something. Well, he might not have. So your point really isn't one.
Now you've done two things. First, you've jumped from 'may have' to 'did', since it clearly didn't work, according to you. Second, you've misused hindsight.
1: As is clear from the posts here, not all wish he did from jump, so your hindsight argument fails if you're trying to use it in order to emphasize inclusivity.
2: Many were calling for a much stronger approach from the beginning so, if you're trying to talk about when people came to the notion of Kraft aggressively defending his team and QB, hindsight doesn't have a damned thing to do with it.
In either case, your hindsight claim is incorrect.
As you admit, you're making assumptions. They're lousy assumptions, too, given the set of facts we already have. They asked for corrections about the PSI to be publicly made, for example. When those corrections weren't made, they did nothing about it, beyond finally making it known when it was far too late to be of any real use.
"I prefer to be a forgiving person..."?
So you forgive Goodell and the NFL, then?
I think they are going to have a serious problem if Brady gets en banc. I want that victory lap shoved all the way up Goodell's ass.
No it wasn't. You're full of **** and everyone in here (including you) knows it.It was reported widely, even in the day of the hearing.
