Brady's legal team expands

Bottom line is whether the case is heard or not, win or lose, Brady fought like hell and took it as far as possible. He didn't turtle like BendOver Bob.

Exactly. That's the important thing to remember. TB12 is fighting to the end because an innocent man should never accept punishment for being innocent.

This is absolutely hilarious. Literally the NFL has argued to CA8 (in Missouri):

"Brady does not bear in this case." - NFL letter to CA8, 9/18/2015

"the Second Circuit’s decision underscores several fundamental principles of labor arbitration that apply here;" - NFL letter to CA8, 4/26/2016

Is this guy the Tom Brady of the lawyers?

Well, this guy certainly didn't take the case on short notice, so the NFLPA knew they would eventually lost after that Kessler debacle.

I hope now they put the right guys to do the talking.

The NFL is as dishonest as it gets.

If they try to get it to the SC, does anyone know how long the SC decides whether to take the case ? As slow as the legal system is, I am wondering if the entire 2016 season could be played before the SC even decides not to take it, if that's the choice.

From what I understand, yeah, if the Supreme Court was to take the case it wouldn't be heard and decided before the end of the 2016 season.

There would be a stay on the suspension though, correct?

I was trying to make this same point with some morons with whom I am accqainted who were going on & on about Brady needing t just stfu & stfd and take his suspension. Decisions like these which, by their nature make waves in their specific area, also send ripples far far out across the water and have an effect upon all sorts of areas of law which involve contracts of any sort. Every union and collective bargaining unit ought to be paying attention to this case because, in one way or another, the final ruling once all appeals are exhausted, will definitely be precedence-setting.

That's what you get arguing with Rats fans.

making a murderer creators should make a deflategate doc
I've said this before, but hell I just want TMZ to investigate the NFL and their part in deflate gate. They sure have a way of getting information and than proof to back it up and they didn't seem intimidated by the NFL with the Ray Rice stuff

No idea, to be honest. I sure hope so.
So a stay would be the suspension would be temporally off? I thought it meant the suspension was on while they handled it. What you're saying would make a lot more sense. Man I never intended to learn some much of the law here...

TBs making a Federal case out of this....I like it, i like it a lot. I guess this isn't 'the end of the matter" Fraudger.

Yep. The same theory for greatness holds true for lawyers. The bigger the case, the brighter the lights , the more stress the easier it becomes to tell the difference between GoAT, MVP, All-Star, Very Good.

Kessler is All-Star. Olsen is MVP.

Hiring Olsen definitely implies Brady is willing to go the distance and I think the owners have had enough and want it to be over with. If nothing else this will increase the desire for a settlement among owners.

So now with the news about the insurance companies' case moving forward along with this latest news, you've gotta think there may be even more of a movement among the owners to get a settlement with Brady now.

Unfortunately for them, the Pats 1st round pick has been missed and they drew blood. Actual damage has been done.

I fear no settlement for the NFL* now.

**** the NFL* !
