It's easy, and only takes a few moments. They have ways to cover for Mayo, who was not playing much anyway (Freeny). Jackson has looked less than impressive as he is unable to make lateral cuts to create space and the OL gives him very little. I was thinking that Ball might be a consideration if he is showing anything in practice.Have one LB on practice squad and he is a rookie Kevin Synder.
Do they go practice squad route or a eligible free agent?
Would they add Ball or Iosofa for RB depth and go with what they have on defense?
Any chance they bring back Spikes?
Shame. Rather have him retire and become a LB coach/ assistant for us.
That's what I'm thinking. His body can't take the pounding that he's dishing out. Some guys are like that. Who was that little LB the Colts had who was always destroying himself?Pec was 2 years ago. Torn patella was this year.
I'm skeptical. His body might be breaking down
I don't see him retiring next year at 30 years old. A team will give him a contract.

I will hate to see him go. His greatness was washed away playing on some truly abysmal defenses.
On a side note, it will be interesting to see how bad the injury is. They wont be able to do anything with his deal if hes still not cleared by a doctor.
Could complicate the summer UFA moves.
Yes. I was thinking Brackett but I think I had him conflated with Sanders.Saftey Bob sanders
