Matt Patricia and Josh McDaniels - HC candidates

If we continued the offensive juggernaut we exhibited for the first 11 games would the view of McDaniels be different??

Does anyone believe that McDaniels operates in complete autonomy from BB??

The Offense looked like crap at the end of the season, not because of McDaniels but because of O Line Play and injuries..

This. Take two starting RBs, your starting LT, your best WR out of any offense and offensive production will drop, particularly when your offensive scheme is partly reliant on your starting WR allowing the option of a quick pass that negates a pass rush. This seems pretty self-evident to me.

Game planning to not get you QB killed kinda ties your hands a little.

McDaniels is a little overated but his hands are slightly tied by Brady. I can see how cute he really wants to be through Jimmy G. Scrambles and deep bombs. Someone like Mariotta seems ideal for Josh moreso than Chip. Tannehill would be an option if he wasnt in our division.

Matt is a mystery. When it comes down to it this is BB's defense. Also as Gary Guyton's #1 hater, I cant overlook the fact he was allowed to start when Patricia was the lb coach.

I think neither leaves but only McDaniels' departure would slow us down. I really disliked Obrien's 1st year. It was ridiculously predictable and loaded w/ bubble screens.

Lets play fit the coach

Giants Mcadoo
Eagles Mcdermott
Dolphins Shula
Browns Mcdaniels or Austin
Niners Sean Payton
Saints Adam Gase
Titans Chip Kelly
Lions Caldwell retained players love him
Thoughts there is a slim possibility we go into next season with both our coordinators.

Hope this plays out

Yeah, bye Mcd, Hello Chip. I Cant wait to see Blount take handoff after handoff from the shotgun.
PasstheBlount was doing that already, then running straight up the middle for…no gain. Repeatedly.
Nice play-calling there, Skippy.

...Browns Mcdaniels...

As do I, but I don't think even Skippy is that stupid to take the Browns' job.

"Report" is McDaniels want the the Titans job.

Now I say "report" because it comes from espn.

Lol makes sense youngest franchise qb quality receivers and alot of picks.

Aside from, maybe, the Giants, it's probably the best available job. Promising rookie QB, the first overall pick and pretty much a clean slate without much in the way of overly expensive ageing players. A lot to do there but it can only really go uphill from where they are now. A 7 game winning season in
Tennessee would be like winning a SB. Heck, a 7 game winning season could get you to the playoffs in that division.

How funny never would happen but if we trades the number 1 to New England for our second future number 1 and a player like Danny Ademendola

But Josh can definitely work with Wright Beckham and Mariotta Walker is a beast in the Hernandez role.

So we're just gonna act like LeGarrette didn't average 4.3 ypc even with a crap Oline.

But please don't let facts get in the way of the crap flowing through your fingers.

The offense gets decimated with injuries and the idiots come out of the woodwork to make McDaniels their whipping boy.

Y'all weren't saying a damn thing when the offense was averaging 36 ppg in the playoffs last year en route to a Super Bowl victory.

Y'all weren't saying a damn thing this year before the injuries set in when the offense was averaging 34.5 ppg.

Hell y'all weren't saying a damn thing back in 2007 when he was the coordinator of the greatest offense that has ever existed.

These dumbasses say the darndest things.

Those dumbasses operate exactly the same as the media they critizise. If everything works, its all Brady and Josh rides his coattails and if things go wrong its usually immediately "classic McD". Everything nowadays is only measured by its immediate success.

The thought that anyone could critizise the preparation and creativity of our coaching staff after watching "Do Your Job" is ridiculous. Don't even wanna know how this hoard would have imploded if the double pass against the Ravens would have failed.

Hoard (as in "horde") might be an appropriate way to describe the anti-McDaniels lobby on this forum sometimes, particularly on game day.
