Pete Morelli and his crew pulled from SNF and reassigned to Pats/Eagles

Are you ****ing kidding me???? We get THAT crew now? Yes I did watch the 49ers and Cards, it was a **** show, they couldn't even figure out what down it was and they called the 9ers 3 times in a row in the end zone for PI, it was a mess.

That roughing the passer penalty was proof they needed the Cards to get that victory, so that it's Palmer in the MVP race with Scam Newtons instead of Brady.

The league is a disgrace.

Vinovich and his crew were awful in the Ravens game, stole a fumble recovery at the 2 yard line from us and flagged Revis before half time and gave the Ravens a free TD. 14 point swing, miracle we won that game.

Every crew is good during the Super Bowl because they do not want to be remembered for horrible officiating by the largest audience each year. Remember the ryan allen no call?

That wasn't his crew though, that was an "all star" crew for the playoffs.

Vinovich had a 2nd "all star" crew in the Super Bowl.

I'm supposed to be worried but it's the eagles. I live in Philly. Chip has lost the locker room and the fans and their QB is Mark Sanchez. R-E-L-A-X
This game doesn't worry me, because the league will let us play. They won't screw us to show "fairness". This game has little playoff implications . The Donkeys game did. Just wait till an important playoff situation. Then we will get the screw job. The MFL is going down fast. ... BTW, If I were a Donkeys fan, I'd be worried about the next time we meet

The Patriots can still beat the Eagles even with an officiating 3x worst than last sunday, look out for a lot of calls pro Pats sunday, so the talking after the game will be something like "see, it's an officiating issue, happens every week in the league, there is no personal agenda" the NFL is so rigged they even have a pattern. It's interesting for the NFL to wash their hands and have the refs as fallback guys. Creating a culture of inconsistencies it's the easiest way to manipulate games.

They have gone too far on the Broncos game, it became a little evident (to the point the clowns on first take were talking about), when it's usually subtle that the regular fan doesn't even notice. Tom can go jump ball Tom all day against the Eagles they will throw a flag for defensive PI.

Yep. Great point.

And then call it back the other way for the Houston game. Because they are "consistent" in their inconsistency.

Before we bag on those officials too hard, consider that what they do is a part-time gig. If all 122 referees were on this full time, and received a respectable salary of say, $75k a year, the total is still less than 1/4 of Goodell's yearly salary, and Goodell is doing much more than all of them combined, to run this game into the ground.

That's crap if true. There is always a chance this game could end up way closer than we like since we have so many injuries and a few bad calls here or there could totally screw our seeding.

Agreed.

What really pisses me off is that they are giving the Pats- who got butt-f'd on national TV by the refs two weeks in a row a ****ball, sub-standard crew.

Clearly Heydrich Blandino and the rest of Goody's Brownshirts are not interested in being fair to the Patriots one iota.

Jackasses.

I think if turning the NFL into a mockery was a measurable incentive of Goody's compensation package he is underpaid.

Tell that to the Seahawks from 2006.

I guess the NLF wants to tell us, "You want bad officiating Patriots fans?! Oh, we'll show you some bad officiating! Here you go!" Losers.

Just the fact that so many fans here know the names and reputations of the referees is more evidence of how bad the NYJFL has become

The refs should just be nameless faceless people on the field who simply enforce the rules of the games. They're not supposed to have reputations based on how many games they've screwed up.

Just heard it on 98.5

If anyone saw the 49ers game be even more nervous now.
Godell: ok so Brady has no weapons and he is able to pull a drive against the top 3 defense in theirs territory. Alarm!!!!Guys wat should we do????Ppl started to like him. Even Dave Demaschek join Brady club!!!Red Alert!!!
Lets give them Pete Morelli treatment and hope they kill Brady.

It is not a league thing imo. I think some of these refs are like. If you tell me to ref a Pats game, I would only see the holds by the other team. I may not even be doing it intentional.

These refs would be stupid to do this in Foxboro, although, the NFL league office is pretty predictable now. If the refs do that same they did in Denver, I call for Patriots fans to storm the field, kidnap the refs and hold them for ransom...we will release the refs for our picks back and Crapdell's resignation!

I expect the refs to not target the Pats like they did last Sunday night. The NFL derailed the undefeated train and now they'll let the Pats go...until the playoffs.

Don't forget the beloved JETS JETS JETS! If they're in playoff contention, don't be surprised to see the Pats drop another game chalk full of "WTF WAS THAT CALL!?!?" with flags all over the place on the road.

The average official will earn $170K this year. Rookies earn $78k this year. I get your overall point, but $170k for a part time gig isn't bad work if you can get it. Integrity.....

OK. Where are the people who were challenging those of us who have been saying that "The fix is in?"

The fix is in.

A group of owners with very deep pockets and a very embarrassed League Office will do whatever it takes to keep the Pats out of the SB.

Call me paranoid. Call me whatever you want. But, every instinct in my body says that money is changing hands in a way that will never be detected.

The only person who could have stood up to it is now known as "Bend over Bob."

This is Goodell slapping the Patriots in the face.
