If there's any game that you should not be afraid of Pete Morelli, it's an Eagles game. He's soooooooooooooooooooo ******* bad for the Eagles. Your over under just went back up to 70.

So it should be a "fun" game to say the least with a bunch of clowns officiating the game.

There was a young head official last year whose name I forget-I think he may have been new. He reffed at least one Patriot game and did a good job. Can't remember his name.

Brad Allen? He's only been a ref since '14. He did last nights game but didn't watch it so can't comment on if he did well or not.

It's starting to look like the NFL is targeting Refs who are "on probation" and giving them an opportunity for "redemption" in officiating Pats games. I sincerely hope proof of some of the NFL's worst shenanigans becomes public and that Pash, Goodell, Vincent etc. go to jail.

Love Steratore's explanations. They should use that as the example for how refs should communicate.

This is exactly the reason I like him as a ref but am not very positive about the rest of his crew.

I still think most ref performances can be explained by them not being very good. I mean they are part timers and it's not like they get to do many games every year...

However, in my opinion it's unbelievable how a league turning over billions of dollars can have a set of rules which apparently can be interpreted in many ways so even knowledgeable people are frequently flip flopping on their point of view on how to look at certain situations.

Morelli is excellent. After the Bag Job (Corrente), this a make-up call after Corrente over-did the Orders.

He was supposed to be assigned to that game but his crew's numerous screwups made the league move him out of the spotlight.

I have some Eagles friends and they're convinced Blount is gonna go crazy this game because apparently the Eagles are horrible against power backs.

Would you say there's any truth to this?

Vinovich is the only crew that I have no problems with. They did a great job against the Ravens and in the Superbowl.

I personally am also ok with Steratore but some of his crew is just abysmal (i.e. inadvertent whistle).

Vinovich and his crew were awful in the Ravens game, stole a fumble recovery at the 2 yard line from us and flagged Revis before half time and gave the Ravens a free TD. 14 point swing, miracle we won that game.

Every crew is good during the Super Bowl because they do not want to be remembered for horrible officiating by the largest audience each year. Remember the ryan allen no call?

Ya the sideline one was ********. But the fumble recovery wasn't Revis pulled on Smith's jersey when he didn't need to.
