White isn't as good as Vereen, let alone Lewis. There's a reason both guys played ahead of him.

White was a rookie last year, so that doesn't mean much. Based on his limited snaps so far this year, he's been pretty much exactly what Vereen was last year.... which isn't entirely complimentary, FWIW.

dri archer > white??

I feel like injuries are always our biggest obstacle in winning the SB.

I still think we beat the Giants with healthy Gronk

As long as the injuries aren't to Brady, Gronk, Edelman, any key players on D, and as long as our Oline doesn't sustain any more injuries, then we are good.

We can manage without Lewis.

Ray Rice's name will come up but who knows

I recognize that this thread might not be the 'venue' or the proper setting, but having just lost Lewis in FF, would you expect Bolden or White to get more reps?

Well, that sucks. Time for White to step up. Maybe sign Archer as insurance as well.

White, by a long shot.

Agreed. The only thing that will stink is that other teams were putting their best CB on Lewis (or at least one or two did). With someone else they can shift resources elsewhere.

But again, this team is fine with an OK 3rd down back.

I disagree. I thought Vereen was great last year. Not up to Lewis level, but it was pretty close to being comparable to Faulk's best years. You're talking about a kid who had 11 receptions in the SB after all.

Lewis wasn't just an electric runner and receiver but he also did a damn good job protecting against the blitz. Considering Lewis has 20 lbs. on Archer, I'm not sure how much of a fit he'd be.
