I can't help it. The excitement inside me is growing.
Yeah, me too. this is getting really juicy. Berman is ripping nash, wells, and goody a new one. Nash throws Goody under the bus. This is great to read after months of it being one sided in favor or the nfl.

Kessler: "No one in the NFL knew anything about the ideal gas law, which is surprising because I think I studied that in 9th grade."

Seriously! I was a ****ing business major who never took any science courses after high school physics, and even I'm familiar with the IGL. How can these clowns live in New York and not have some general understanding of the concept that pressure drops when it's cold?

It's a concept that informs so many small parts of day-to-day life in the winter that I just can't understand how someone living in New York could fail to realize that the general concept exists.

Def agree with this point. Aggressive questioning a way to urge settlement.

Again, can't read too much into strident questioning of NFL. Berman's goal is settlement, does not want to rule. Added a court date (8/31).

I love that the judge appears to be siding with Brady, but I'm liking the NFL* less and less, the arrogance and injustice they are trying to ram through.

Once again, Bleep the NFL*!

I'm not laughing as much as you... Berman seems to be minimizing the science. I suppose I should be happy he is actually delving into the case instead of just looking at "is RG allowed to do this", but still.... Untrained eye : Berman thinks something WAS done to the balls, but disagrees strongly with how NFL handled case with no proof and botching all the evidence.
I don't think it's accurate that Berman is ignoring science pretty sure he is just tabling that discussion I believe very early in the process he accepted that balls can naturally deflate but that it doesn't automatically mean additional air couldn't be let out. Basically science doesn't prove one way or the other. And moved on to all other evidence.

Berman: "Which of the four games were for ball tampering and which were for non cooperation?"
Stephen Brown ‏@PPVSRB 1m1 minute agoManhattan, NY
Berman: "The next time someone tampers with a ball but cooperates, what suspension would he get?"

Stephen Brown ‏@PPVSRB 6m6 minutes agoManhattan, NY
Nash: "Brady was not just generally aware. He was involved." Berman: "Why doesn't it say that?"

Berman: How did he pick steroid use to explain he suspended Mr. Brady four games?"
Touch down...

Even if it is a false leak, it's a pointless one, because settlement offers will be moot once Berman will rules on the issue.

It's legally pointless, yes. But guess what headline was leading ESPN this morning. Further evidence to the dumb, uninformed viewing public that Brady "knows he's guilty and his trying to weasel out of accepting the full punishment he deserves".

This leak, like all the others, is far more about perception and smearing Brady than anything else.

I disagree. I think he thinks the science is so irrelevant and what happened here wasn't really a thing - that it doesn't matter about the science.

Not only that, he's not supposed to be re-litigating the case.

Did Berman ask Kessler any questions?

They all know the IDL. Just didnt want to apply it here.

You are making good points. I suppose he may already be "reaching" more into the case vs Brady than many thought he would.

I can't trust the leaks (obv) that suggest Brady is open to missing a game. He cooperated.

Nash is calling Pash not relevant - red herring . and said Brady team opted not to seek his testimony when it had 2nd chance. Hilarious. Isnt this what wells and NFL did with 4 interviews of McNally?
Wasn't it Pash that invoked client, council privilege?
