He needs to have an opportunity to make a play on the ball, he can't do that if the pass is thrown way too short. It's been a bad game for him no doubt, but I think people are going overboard and blaming him for every single incomplete pass in his direction when that simply isn't the case, some of them are bad throws and a mix of other things going on
He was open for a deep TD when JG under threw him. I don't blame him entirely. One of his few good plays was actually breaking up an interception, though he failed to break up another.

Just my observations. Nothing more, nothing less. I think alot of fans here need to take some of BB's advice and ignore the hype. There's so much hype in the NFL particularly when it comes to quarterbacks.

Is there? I think most people understand elite qbs are extremely rare and Jimmy G may or may not attain that status. And, of course, folks are gonna root for him and not crucify him for making rookie mistakes in a preseason game.

Harper!!??!!??

While some of Jimmy's throws were bad, Boyce was ass last year, too, though. How many more opportunities should he get?

Not many more opportunities unless he can show consistency, but you have to at least be fair and only get mad at him for the plays that were actually his fault.. and there were a lot of those, but not all of them

I'm only watching in parts so can't really say and will watch fully later. Saw that Mason helped break Gray free on the TD which was nice. You?

Keepers, the both of them. Mason was pretty much everything scouted by yourself as far as run blocking but I was pretty impressed with his pass coverage which many thought was gonna be a liability. Looks like he is spounging it up us he goes.

Wasn't too high on the Jackson pick although I knew it was great value. He is pretty much impressive so far.

Flowers is just picking up where he left off in college. Underrated, but still that guy who applys pressure consistently. He is going to make some of those front 7 fellows very happy flushing sacks their way. Hopefully the injury wasn't too serious.

Our red shirt rookie Easley looked explosive and also outmaneuved at times.

Malcolm Brown fit in but didn't dominate. He has got big shoes to fill but he did his job and you can't ask more than that this early.

Lot of progress early and it looks like this draft class might be one of the special ones.

hes beginning to settle down, hes playing better now than he did
I dont think anyone thought he was done, just he wasnt playing well

Interesting note here is that they've pulled Mason and Jackson is still in the game. Jackson looks decent to me but didn't stand out. Pencil in Mason as your day-1 starter at LG.
Huh? Both Mason and Jackson are still in the game.

Been high on Harper since they signed him. I would love for him to be kept, but I don't think there will be room for him. I just hope they can sneak him into the PS.

It's not really about making mistakes. It's more like he doesn't stand tall in the pocket. He looks almost flat in his movement in the pocket. He doesn't see guys that are open. His pocket awareness is lacking. Feel free to disagree with me fine, but if Jimmy G was a stock, I'm not buying.

Boyce just....isn't the guy

Prince Alladin has been playing behind a line consisting of three rookies and two second year guys, one of which has been devey. hes been throwing to scrubs, no gronk, or edelman, or lafell. So hes been doing pretty good considering.

These Kraft Sports pre-season productions are so over the top it's awesome. Every cutaway is a shot of the stadium, product placement, or the food services staff. The Gillette Stadium Experience, ladies and gentlemen. Also, buy tickets to the field lounge.

seriously McCarthy? A challenge in a preseason game?
