There is an emergency meeting of the rules committee this afternoon to allow this heinous practice to end forthwith.. and of course Goodell has called his buddy Wells to commence another investigation on "lockout gate"... ;)

Felger, Volin and Borges are crying foul along with the rest of the local mediots who can attend but want to express their solidarity with the national rumpswabs... at the end of the day all have a few more twitter followers and facebook likes which is their measure of success.. ;)

How long can he keep this going? By the rules (of course).

Maybe he can do some thing like telling reporters (accidentally) which field they'll be on. Heck, maybe the town can get in on it and make detours that send the reporters in circles (or towards NY).

The national media assassinates his character and legacy and wonders why when he can, he shuts them out.

Gary Myers

Someone replied to that tweet and said the Packers, Ravens, Seahawks and Steelers do the same thing. I'm not Volin, so I'm not going to immediately assume this is true, but, if so, why doesn't Myers mention those teams, also?

Because myers isnt here to cover patriots practice. He wants to talk about other issues like defalting footballs and punishments etc etc and get a soundbite.

No big deal...Myers and the rest of the rat pack can meet with me and a few other long time patriot fans out in the parking lot. Bring your mics and your medical insurance cards,fellas...we'll give you all the five finger interviews you can handle.

I don't know about that one. I can't recall a confirmed instance of Kraft overriding a BB decision.

Troy Brown getting a roster spot his final season was at Kraft's request but other than that i can't think of him meddling, this is different however because it involves his buddies at CBS and his role on the TV committee so I could definitely see Kraft ordering Belichick to open the doors to all of them. I can also see that being the catalyst to Belichick finally having enough and calling it quits after this season.

I think you're right about Troy, but, to use your term, a request isn't an override. Not looking to argue the point, but to once again use your term, I agree he hasn't been meddlesome.

I'd let Chris Mortensen know that he's invited to practice the instant he writes a public retraction on the "11 of 12 footballs" story that was proven wrong by the NFL's own data that was published in the Wells Report.

Or maybe better...I'd let ESPN as a whole know that their people are only invited to media-open practices after they publish full retractions of the false Mortensen and Nagi reports, leave the retractions prominently displayed on their web site for 4 months, and lead off Sports Center with the retractions stories for at least 24 hours.
