Belichick Locks National Media Out From Practice.

Troy Brown getting a roster spot his final season was at Kraft's request .

I never knew that. Interesting.

Well that explains why he was so eager to take it up the ass from Goodell. I guess he enjoys it...
Gotta wonder if Myra was around would Bob have laid down like this....

Raising 4 boys made Myra a put-up-with-no-BS kinda gal. ;)

That little blonde cupcake has made him soft.

There's pills for that now.

How long can he keep this going? By the rules (of course).

Maybe he can do some thing like telling reporters (accidentally) which field they'll be on. Heck, maybe the town can get in on it and make detours that send the reporters in circles (or towards NY).

Hmmmm.

As professor Terguson said to Thornton Melon, I like the way you think.

What would Belichick be worth to the Red Sox ...

Is there a source for this: I googled it and this thread is the only thing that comes up....

Good to see Bill remain faithful to his character and not kowtow to a national media who have unfairly done a hatchet job on him and his team all this off season. He knows they hate him because he challenges them to be smart and knowledgeable. He's not there to make their job easier like the popular coaches do.

After 40 years you'd think they'd know by now that they aren't going to get a straight answer on a question that might throw a player or coach under the bus, give away any strategic information, or some other stupidities. He is NOT EVER going to offer speculation, or give them more than a general insight on his operation.

God Bless him for being this way. While it would be a life long dream to see the Pats on HBO during training camp, I know it wouldn't be in the team's best interests. Bill understands that all the extraneous things that the media THINKS is important and seeks out, doesn't add anything to his efforts to win on Sunday, and might even be a negative, so he eliminates them from the equation. It's nothing personal, and it's not a secret. Yet any time Bill is merely being Bill, they all act like 2 year olds being told there will be no desert.

I can't think of a better example of the term pay back is a ***** than Belichick's relationship with the media. He's been mocked or worse by the media almost everywhere he's been. Now that he has the hammer he uses it.

At first it used to bother me that Belichick wouldn't answer questions, and it still bothers me when he dumps one of my favorite players, but damn the guy is the best NFL HC by a country mile. He's a no stone left un-turned coach and the results are speaking loud and clear.

The Sox are a freaking disaster. Their biggest problem is that they do not have an identity.

BB would fix that in 3 seconds.

Only local media imside....too funny ...love it.

One reporter said do my job...

do my job I am not being allowed to do my job....lol.
lmao i love love love this. espn can gfyourselfs.

I'd let Chris Mortensen know that he's invited to practice the instant he writes a public retraction on the "11 of 12 footballs" story that was proven wrong by the NFL's own data that was published in the Wells Report.

Or maybe better...I'd let ESPN as a whole know that their people are only invited to media-open practices after they publish full retractions of the false Mortensen and Nagi reports, leave the retractions prominently displayed on their web site for 4 months, and lead off Sports Center with the retractions stories for at least 24 hours.
Hmmmm, might be onto something here..........

Just needs to take a baseball bat to some of the locals inside now.

belichick is a ****ing badass. he doesn't give a **** what anyone thinks.
i wish he could be coach/gm AND owner!!!

Lmao, so many here wanted the Patriots to hire a GM because they claimed he was ruining the roster, and that was just last Super Bowl season. In fact some are back at it already, and what apparently skips right past them is that Belichick's deal with the Patriots gives him control over football operations, and hiring a GM would be no different than firing Belichick because they would get a " I will no longer be the HC of the NEP." message the next day.

Belichick is the GOAT, period, no other coach could have built and maintained the team and success he has achieved in a hard cap free agency era.
