Brady's agent's response

This will be fun to watch. I was amazed that they went after the team - again. There is no connection to the team, even if there were any breach of the rules by one of the two equipment guys - which they failed miserably in proving. In fact, they had to go beyond the crooked "scientific" firm and their own in-house interviews and say things like one official must have remembered wrong... because it really really didn't fit the narrative.
Yeah i was thinking earlier this off season isn't going to be boring.

If this goes to the highest court I want them to subpoena every locker guy who looks after each teams footballs from the 31 other teams as well as there hand phones, texts etc information taken. I also want to subpoena every starting QB from the 2014 season to get them to say how they have there footballs prepared. I want Tom Brady to take down everyone that stayed silent, that let down Tom Brady, they know they could have stopped all this rubbish. Actually scrap that.. make it 30 other teams.. Kaepernick is OK

Brady's suspension won't stand and will be overturned or reduced. I'm concerned about the Pats punishment especially considering the Wells Report exonerated them. Although I know the CBA says the Pats can't fight it, I'd like to see Mr. Kraft try.

A key point made by Yee: the league was so concerned with the integrity of the game as it relates to deflated footballs that it knowingly allowed the AFCCG first half to be played with them in order to catch the Pats in a sting.

The chances are Roger won't step away in the appeal process. I hope the wheels of justice can
move fast enough to grant an injunction delaying the 4 game suspension until the Wells report
is reviewed by an arbitrator. A favorable decision would help Brady but not return the draft
choices. There are four months left to resolve the problem.

Goodell's job is on the line. It's make or break for him. No way is he going to let someone else decide. This is why he chose Vincent in the first place.

Worst part is the two equipment guys losing their jobs. Kraft better find them a new position.

Biggest obstacle to appeal: getting someone outside of Goodell (or one of his appointees) to listen to case. i think the (horrible for players) CBA states Goodell listens to all appeals.

Players can and have appealed the appeal to a higher authority.
Brady will take this to the f-ing Supreme Court.

Kraft is in the way. He stands by. I have lost all faith in him. People here can bring up sucky past owners all they want. Mention his $ as well for all I care. He made two moves : bought team, got BB. That's it. Without BB, there is nothing.

"Same"? Did Rozelle ever take away Raiders' picks, especially first-rounders? Did he ever suspend any of their HoF players?

Sorry, bigger hardon* either way a-hole needs to

Deus, you are just the right blend of crazy and precise. Help me out here. What is that 1st rounder really about ? Are we really saying that they are taking away a 1st rounder cause there was a camera placed incorrectly before the birth of my 7 year olds and that Tommy's texts to Gisele are kept away from TMZ ?

Actually, that will be the easy part. A federal judge will insure it as it relates to collectively bargined rights. You don't mess with union employees in Obama's world.

They need to use the NFL leaks that were lies (11 of 12 footballs...) to make an unfair labor practices claim against the NFL, defaming a union member. Make that stick, and poof goes Goodell as the arbitrator.

Don Yee, if only for PR is doing what Robert Kraft should be doing. Kudos.

Not really. That ship has sailed. The only way the team penalty gets revisited is maybe if Goodell loses his job over this. Which won't happen since Kraft is a gutless toad, and even if he had a pair of testicles he probably wouldn't be able to get that done anyway.

If Brady's penalty is overturned because an outsider basically finds that he and the Pats did nothing wrong, the Pats' penalty will look pretty bad.

You're right that it's hard for things to go right for the Pats now without them going badly for Goodell, but there's something in the tone or spin of how you say it I disagree with.

Why, its not like they have to prepare for a game, and they're use it for motivation.

Federal court cases take time. Without a rush, the Pats won't even get to a neutral arbitrator before the season starts. Further, even if they got to one in August or earlier, the distraction and uncertainty could be pretty bad. Time is indeed of the essence.
