3 years/21 million
I'm happy they keep spending money on old players when they're not anywhere near a championship level team. AFC sucked last year and their way to the AFCCG was a joke.
Colts agreed to terms with WR Andre Johnson, formerly of the Texans, on a three-year, $21 million contract.
They still will be in it, because the AFC is weak. They beat the Ravens, Bengals, Broncos last year, and they are all the better teams within the conference.
Pats, Broncos, Colts, Steelers/ravens/bengals, chargers are the contenders.

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1575/andre-JohnsonI don't believe that's necessarily true.
They've added both Kendell Langford and Trent Cole--two significant additions in the front seven. They also retained safety Mike Adams, and added Andre Johnson (to a receiving corps of TY Hilton, Donte Moncrief, and the 2 TEs).
The only "old" player they've added thus far has been RB Frank Gore, which automatically improves their running game and would've been a welcome addition had he come here instead of IND.
The bottom line is that the Colts definitely got better in a wide open AFC where they were in the championship game last season, even if they aren't quite "there" just yet.
Expect the soon-to-be 34-year-old to replace Reggie Wayne as the starter in two-wide sets opposite T.Y. Hilton, while sophomore Donte Moncrief takes over as the No. 3 receiver for outgoing free agent Hakeem Nicks.
colts are signing a bunch of past it players.
the raiders did this last year. lol
afc is so weak right now.

I'm not sure I would call Andre Johnson exactly "young".
The Colts deal I heard was 3 years 20 mil. No way do the Pats come close to that.I think he would be perfect as the #3 WR and could come cheap I have a feeling AJ is going to get a lot more money then we think from the colts or some other team
