No one's saying he's Fitzgerald but the point most are making is the fact that he's better than he's being given credit for. and the fact he's being completely dismissed by so many is ridiculous. The guy fell off, realized it, and then worked hard to make himself useful and contribute and it made a difference in the regular season, playoffs, and he helped them win a championship.
As far as him being "non existent against the colts" - he wasn't out there because the game plan obviously leaned heavily on different personnel groupings that didn't warrant him being out there. He only played in 37% of the snaps in that game, one play less than Vereen and 13 less than Blount. He's good enough to have on this roster if he'll lower his salary, which I'm guessing at a lower number people might finally get off his case.
