If the league has a few severly deflated balls - I believe they will say that this is below the norm and that Pats are guilty. What else can they say? Man. What a roller coaster. Spy gate .... The sequel. Wow. Could have never imagined.
You don't know that handling 2007 differently would have worked out better. You bet, Andy. And from your lips to God's ears. I look forward to your scenario playing out tomorrow or Wednesday.
This thread is a plea to Mr. Kraft to do the right thing on this and not act (lie down) as he did in 2007.
All Kraft talking will do is fan the flames of this story. Best thing to do is keep silent.
True, but could it have been worse? You don't know that handling 2007 differently would have worked out better.
Bob Kraft is probably too busy organizing the send off rally so that he and his girlfriend can invite Politican and Celibrities. He only focuses on positive PR and doesn't want to associate himself with anything negative as it affects his brand name.

I disagree. I don't think there's another owner with more influence with the league. He's entitled to a timely disposition of this matter and he should ask for that.Because they will listen to him and he even has a say??
He has no choice in this matter. If the NFL want a prolonged investigation the NFL will HAVE a prolonged investigation.
He can come out and say what he likes. It won't effect the speed of an investigation at all.

He has influence absolutely. There's also nothing to say he hasn't pressed this. He has no obligation to do this publicly.
I don't see what speaking out really does to help the situation. Players have laughed it off and we have to do the same.
I don't see why this has ruined it? To be honest, and I have some irritating friends, I haven't had this rubbed in my face at all. It seems far fetched to a lot of people.
Reread the OP. You completely missed what was written there.
Not to make some public speech, but he has huge influence in the league (he is the most powerful owner in a group of 32 that employs Roger Goodell) and he while he can't (and shouldn't) be able to influence an investigation, he has every right to demand and get an immediate and timely investigation.
Let me ask YOU. Why should this investigation take 4+ weeks and findings not be publicly announced until well after the Super Bowl? Do you think this subject is complex enough to warrant more than a 48 hour investigation by a team of experts?
Innocent until proven guilty beyond any reasonable doubt is just a memory.
Sad, isn't it.
True, but could it have been worse?
Bob Kraft is allowing the Jim Romes, the Tomases, the Easterbrookes and Patriotsevens of this world to paint the picture and create the reality.
Mr. Kraft: WE shouldn't have to be dealing with this, YOU come out of the cave and deal with it. Stop worrying about being a "traitor to your class" and fight for your fans for once."
You want it to stop? Then what you really want is a losing team, in obscurity, that no one gives two craps about. Like the Buccaneers.
