I am excited to see Revis in training camp, it will be cool to hear about what he is like during the summer. Do not know too much about him except that he is awesome at football and like money, a lot.

Collins will be an important player, will he be able to continue with his gains or will he backslide?

GP, the backup QB is always a favorite, and as this may be the future, it will be even more interesting.

The wide receivers in general. Will it be Thompkins who steps up, is Dobson fully healed and ready to take it to the next level, and what is the deal with Boyce. A great storyline with that position group. LaFell, not so much.

why not get a Patriot roster and GO to training camp at Gillette and , you know, WATCH ALL THE PLAYERS?
It's these narrow, picayune "lists" that blind some fans from seeing REAL developments, like the battle between Ryan Allen and Mesko. You "list" watchers missed the FACT that Allen was consistently, day in and out, beating Mesko out. When I stated the same here last summer I was savagely attacked by the "listers" who scoffed at any notion that Mesko could be beaten out. The reason they missed it was they WERE NOT WATCHING.
Personally, I like to attend camp sessions with other fans and break down the practices and players into segments, giving each player in their respective units a good once over at least. The offensive line, for example, should provide great insight into the direction it will take as far starters and backups, right from the jump. What good is just watching Stork, when a Halapio could be beasting right there for anyone to see, if only one of the "listers" would take notice.

A good point, but maybe just a tad listerphobic.

I'll try to keep it in mind if I attend TC.

No real order here:

  • Garoppolo. Lets see how quickly he can learn the offense over summer. I don't expect much but if he looks good then it shows there is potential.
  • The WRs. All of them. How is Dobson's foot? Can he make the Year 2 jump and become a legit #1 or 2? Can Amendola outplay Edelman for once? How well does LaFell fit? Is Thompkins on bubble? How is Harrison looking? And can Gallon make this team and produce?
  • The Defensive Line. Lets see how well Kelly and Vince are coming along. Lets see if the yeti, Armstead, makes an appearance and better yet makes a difference. Can Easley start early in the season? At DE, can Buchanan make the Year 2 jump? How is Will Smith looking? Can maybe Hightowr and Collins maybe play some DE in sub scenarios?
  • SS. Ryan, Harmon or Chung. Who steps up? I see Ryan as the favorite because he has the best ball skills but I liked what I saw from Harmon last season.
  • And I just want to see Revis in a Patriot uniform. That is gonna be a beautiful day.

I'll just name positions, in order of interest to me:

1. Interior OL
2. Interior DL
3. WR
4. TE
5. S

I went to my first TC last year. Not only was it FUN....it was FREE!! Free parking...free admission, even the handouts with names and jersey numbers were free. well..water was $1, The Eagles will b coming in in August and I'll be trying to convince my Eagle friends to call in sick in join me

Front line players who are coming off injuries who we need to be impact players-

1. Gronk
2. Vince
3. Mayo
4. Kelly
5. Vollmer

1.Gronk:this Offense needs Gronk to be superbowl caliber
2. Wilfork: we forget that he is coming off a major injury and we do not know how he is going to come back
3.Collins: big step up for him
4. Harmon: another big step up
5. Interior OL: We dont know who is going to be the starter at Center or Right Guard, it could be Wendell and Connolly but the Patriots obviously want someone to beat these guys out and a strong camp from Cannon and Stork would be a huge step in that direction.

1. Revis
2. Revis
3. Revis
4. Revis
5. Revis

That's one Hell of a fine Secondary you got there.

To many ????? 4 my liking. With Brady on board I would feel much much better if we had a talent at wr with less lottery ticket hope n more of expectations n full confidence the shuttle has all its parts to fly. Then we can feel confident about a shootout in January if n when it arises.like mentioned Lafell a low ceiling n Dobson has some questions other than health. Gronk is n impact player but nobody even expects him to be healthy in January anymore. I m confident in the defense. Confident easley is a freakish beast, n Collins can blitz more. Just Lil concerned with resigning wilfork at 33. Would like high tower to play at bout 255. There simply r no 4-3 standout explosive lb's in this passing league weighing a lumbering 270. Marty Bryant over white would have been nice. Rbs r easy to find,wr's with a high ceiling like that r not.I also have no concerns over gp.

I like your list, although with TC so far away and the Bruins done, I'm not sure I like having the TC jones hit so early. The pre-season games are even further-off, so I'll focus on what I'm looking forward to seeing in camp drills.

1. OL - I want to see how the pieces work and where the new coach puts everyone. Does Cannon get reps at G? Does Connolly get reps at C? Does Stork look like the real deal? How do Fleming and Halapio (and Kline) look in 1-on-1 PP drills? (This comes first, because there are so many moving parts.)
2. DT - How do Easley and Armstead look against NFL competition? This could be real fun.
3. Buchanan - How big and strong does he look with a full off-season in him? Has he developed some complimentary pass-rush moves? How well does he set the edge this year?
4. Do Collins and Dobson look like they've made the 2nd-year jump?
5. How does our revamped secondary look, and how bad does that make our WR corps look?

When the pre-season starts, I'll definitely be watching S. In addition to Harmon, I want to see Wilson get some reps there. With better CB play and McCourty back there, I want to see if his career as a DB can be salvaged. He can't help but outperform messageboard expectations, and with Gregory gone and Chung a known commodity, I'd think he'd have more of a chance to show that he's figured things out.

Have learned enough to not get too high (or low) when rookies flash (or fail to do so) in TC. As such, most interested to see the development of the 2nd-year guys who project to start, in whom the 2014 Patriots seem to be placing a fair amount of stock: Harmon, Collins, Dobson and whomever else might emerge from that WR platoon. And I suppose Armstead and Harrison would count among that group as well.

Honestly don't anticipate we'll see too much of Gronk. And the dude about whom I have the least trepidation is Revis!

Camp is wicked fun. Get enamored of binks. Then confused & depressed as meanie BB cuts their ass.

Really looking forward to see what 2nd year player makes the big jump. I am hoping Dobson is that guy. 2) want to see how the LB's look this year. 3) Pass rush who is going to step up. 4) RB who is going to step up and be that horse we need. 5) and the coaching staff more on the D side what game plans are you going to come up with that will make the D a top 5 D.

Note that some of the choices I listed are situations rather than "players":

1. Collins - Has the talent to be a future All-Pro if he develops properly. I want him in coverage, in coverage, and then in coverage. Perfect player for the "new age" NFL.
2. The Injured Crew - Gronk, Mayo, Wilfork, Vollmer: Interested to see how these guys can recover. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about them, though.
3. Duron Harmon - The more college tape I watched, the more I enjoyed watching him, especially with his ability to close on the ball and deliver a hit. Not to mention his leadership qualities. I saw that same ability in his limited snaps in year one and I'm looking forward to seeing the secondary come together.
4. Dobson vs. LaFell - LaFell has intrigued me since his LSU days, he has an interesting size/speed combo with obvious blocking ability. Dobson has better wheels. I'm very interested to see who can steal most of the snaps at the "Y" spot.
5. Interior offensive line: I don't know how it will play out, but it'll be interesting to see if Cannon/Stork/Halapio can steal a job from Wendell or Connolly. I'm also interested to see if they play Fleming at G, or if they view him strictly as a T.

May the best men win. Competition in camp is great for everyone, except whoever has to sit on the bench! I can't wait until the picture clears up a little bit, because we have a TON of talent, and a lot of question marks as to how it will all come together.
