We go down to Miami and beat the Dolphins IMHO. Then Baltimore. I think we beat them in a playoff type game, gutting out a 20-17 type victory. That's where our SB mettle is forged and tested. In the words of T-Sizzle, 'can't wait!'

:wha: after 2 lets say not so great games, you assume Miami whos also playing for playoff, as a walk in the park type of game?? Can't you share some of the goodies you got? :pigsfly:

Beating Baltimore at home always tough, but let's not go overboard here. They are a deeply flawed team just like all the other teams fighting for that last playoff spot in the AFC.

They let the Matt Cassel led Vikings this past weekend at home score 26 points and escaped with a last minute victory. And that was without Adrian Peterson for most of the game.

It is definitely a game the Pats can lose, but I not all that impressed with the Ravens.

BTW, it was Bart Scott who coined the phrase "can't wait", not Terrell Suggs.

If the offense can keep rolling against solid defenses in Miami and Baltimore without gronk I will be a lot more confident that we can make arun here

I don't think the offense will be as bad as it was the first six weeks because now we have vereen and amendola healthy...and not to mention the rookies have made HUGE strides since then in learning the playbook

Patriots need to beat Miami in Miami, worry about Baltimore during Baltimore week.

I agree .. some folks think somehow the Patriots have forgot to play "offense" without their tight end, even though we played games this year without him. I'm not minimizing his absence .. We got folks in single file lines jumping off the Tobin .. I really don't remember these mass suicides like this, even when Brady went down ..

Agree, these next two games will give a good indication of how well the offense can adapt. I think they are both going to be tough tough games.

BTW, the Baltimore bandwagon is growing - Rodney Harrison, Jaworski is getting real up on them.

I hope we can get Dobson andcthompkins back for these games because we are going to need them. Especially Dobson he was coming on nicely before the foot injury

Yep, and it won't be easy. My Christmas wish is that Brady throws for one touchdown in each quarter, and wins 28-27.

I don't think we'll be seeing any more blowouts this year, even against the Bills.

Just seeing a good four quarter performance will be good enough for me.

Yeah wth is wrong with Dobson anyway? Its not going to be like week 1. We will miss Gronk but Brady has had decent amount of time with these guys that we shouldn't be a hot mess we were early on offensively. And with our defense we cannot afford to be...

Sprained foot...and the only thing that can heal it is rest

Also I would expect amendola to be a big part of our offense going forward. He's kind of been the odd man out with edelman playing so well...but he seems to be open a lot. He is going to need to step up big time and put up performances like hr had against the bills and I think he's up to it.

First sign to me was his game winning td

There are three games left. All of them are key.

I'm not trying to be that guy here, but this Miami game is not a game you should be over looking with Gronk out for the season.

I'm actually expecting a tough game.

As fans, we have the ability to not have to take it one game at a time. That said, I do agree. Miami in Miami is more than likely going to be a tougher game than it has been since 2010.

One positive is the Pats are the only team to pass for more than 300 yards on Cleveland this year (the Pats passed for 418 yards) and most of Brady's yards came after Gronk went out of the game. Cleveland has a better pass defense than either the Dolphins or the Ravens.

Although, both Baltimore and Miami give up slightly less points per game than Cleveland.

The key to the season is how well Hightower, Collins and Spikes handle responsibilities.

If they can help to limit the run and prevent TEs and RBs from catching passes for long gains, then I trust Dennard, McCourty and Talib to hold down receivers enough for Brady and the O to score the needed 24 points.

Miami will be TOUGH. And Baltimore TOUGHER.

These will be more epic games. Hey, I prefer this! Maximum entertainment value! :D

I think Spikes is still injured. He looked really slow, even for him on Sunday. Hopefully, he will get healthier over the next two weeks.

Collins played really well against the Texans and inconsistent against the Browns (some great plays, some horrible plays). Hopefully, he will get more consistent over the next few weeks.
