Week 14 NFL Games - Previews and Predictions

Steelers almost pulled off a last second win (Lateral)

Talk about Karma. Last week Tomlin tried to to be smart on the sideline, this time the football Gods gave him a taste of his own medicine in a matter of speaking. With no time left on the clock here is what happened

to sum it up Antonio Brown and his foot took a huge dump on the Steelers Playoffs hope

Re: Steelers almost pulled off a last second win (Lateral)

Really stupid by Brown, he could have easily stayed inbounds.

Re: Steelers almost pulled off a last second win (Lateral)

It sucks because if the Steelers had won the Pats would have locked up the East. But if they do that against Miami this week then it's all good. I am happy to say "put a fork in the Steelers!" This is two years in a row without making the playoffs and they have not won a postseason game in three straight years. I have known some a-hole Steelers fans over the years and I remember in 2008 when the fans in the stadium cheered the news of Brady getting hurt when it was announced on the PA. Because of those things I root against Pittsburgh almost every week.

Steelers are done...put a fork in em.

Re: Steelers almost pulled off a last second win (Lateral)

LOL!

What an idiot.

That team is poorly coached.

Re: Steelers almost pulled off a last second win (Lateral)

That certainly looked like a forward lateral on Roethlisberger. Refs blew that one.

Re: Steelers almost pulled off a last second win (Lateral)

Man, that team has issues with those big white stripes on the sidelines.....

This is just about the Broncos. Eric Decker is a 2014 free agent. (as well as Moreno) His stats have inflated to the point he may be pretty expensive. Can the Raiders or some stupid team please overpay this guy?

All of sudden, the Broncos 2014 offense would be:

Demaryius Thomas
Julius Thomas
33 year old Welker

Thomas, Thomas, and Welker are 2015 free agents too. Hopefully this dumb offense only has a 1 year shelf life.

I agree, funny also that we have one of the top road records in the NFL, but we're not the same, defense goes to sleep on the road.

I do think the saints away problems are WAY, over hyped by the media though, usually the O does fine.

Brees is obsessed with these pats references stats. People are going to be calling them a different road team because they play so differently on the road, not just because of the losses. At home they are all blowouts ,on the road every game they play seems like a struggle.

I think it's pretty much SB or bust with the Broncos. I don't think they care about the long term with their old QB.

Now if you want to complain about weapons......picture if Brady had Marshall, Jeffery, and Forte; a repeat of 2007?

Those two are the best WR duo since Moss/Welker 07 IMO.

Imagine amendola, Edelman, gronk, vereen, and having Dobson, KT and Boyce with a year under there belt, we could see a repeat of 2007. In fact, we could se a truly unstoppable offense in theory, unfortunately several would suffer injuries :(

Jeffery and Marshall putting on a clinic so far. The catch radius with that duo is just ridiculous

Josh Mccown is a backup? Never seen him play, but I'm impressed

Marshall has been a head case up until this year so I'm not sure on him. But I really, really, really wanted the Pats to draft Alshon last year. He's an absolute beast.

Just off the top of my head, and thinking about pairings from this season:

White/Jones (Atlanta)
Thomas/Welker (Denver)
Fitzgerald/Floyd (Arizona)

I'd take those, for starters. The Bears have an excellent duo, though.

*Sees hit below the knee penalty in the Cowboys/Bears game*

So... why aren't we making this an illegal tackle on all players? And shouldn't it be from the knee down? I know this gives the defensive player an unfairly small window to work with but what other option is there? Goodell has put himself in a corner cracking down on headshots. We're going to be left with a bunch of mentally intact players who can't walk.

"This dude is ridiculous." - Mike Tirico on Alshon Jeffery.

Well said, sir. Well said.

Dobson, please become a 1/2 of Jeffery. Holy crap!

BTW, if you're the Bears, don't you think seriously about letting Cutler walk after this season?

ridiculous catch

Fantastic catch by Jeffery.
