I'm happy for the guy. He grew up and went to college in one of the great metro areas of the US -- arguably of the world -- and now he gets to go back there and make lots of money.
And he got his ring early in his career, so he can focus on money, lifestyle, and all those other job concerns everybody has.
I never want an ex-Patriot to do super-well, because I want the bidding to be under control for our future FAs -- but I hope he does well for himself. E.g., that he underperforms his contract a little, but not so badly as to be cut.
I don't dislike him, he's simply a pass rush specialist and special teamer.
If anything, I'm disappointed in the Patriots for not having more linebackers in development. Alexander forced into action in the AFC Championship game? Wow!
