Starting another brain dead idiotic post is not valid, ESPECIALLY with a monster thread already dedicated to Tebow.

Talk about trolling...wow

You mean the thread where all the Tebow fans want him on the team but are incapable of telling us what he has done to deserve it?

I thought so. Now you can tell us all what he has done to deserve it.

I do however understand why you guys are so upset about this thread, actually asking Tebow fans to tell us what he has done to be on this team is an impossible task for them.

Why are you so upset? According to you, he will be cut in a week. Why not just wait it out? Instead you want to stir it up because you are bothered so much by Tebow being on the preseason roster.

His performance in the league, his starting experience, winning record as a starter, postseason win as a starter, all justify bringing him in for a season to see if he can be the backup after Mallet moves on. So yes, he's "earned" that shot in a tough league.

If the measure were based on his postseason statline, coming in and playing with the 3's, then no he's not earned anything. Not even a hot dog from the concessionaire.

What a player did before they were released by a team has nothing to do with them earning their position with their new team. i will give you credit for at least trying something though, as none of your compadres has been able to do even that much so far, instead they are just kicking, screaming, and covering up their little eyes and ears and begging mommy to make the logic go away. Players have to earn positions, they shouldn't be handed out like ribbons at field day for being nice.

I don't need to put any of you on ignore because as soon as he gets cut you will all disappear.

And what happens if he doesn't get cut? What will you do then? Quit the board like Belichick10405...?

Yes it does. Just because you don't want it to matter doesn't mean it doesn't. Body of work matters, especially at a position like QB.

Actually, to be precise, they don't "earn" them. Players that are perfectly deserving of a spot, who have done everything they could have possibly done, should still be cut if it is in the best interest of the team. There's no "fairness." There's no specific thing you can do that is enough to "earn" it. When it comes time for the 53 cut, the coaches have to act in the team's interest. If the 6th DE has totally outplayed the 6th Safety, but the team decides they need that 6th Safety more -- bye bye DE.

So the whole idea of "earning" it is not the precise little package you'd like it to be. It's a cut throat game in a cut throat league. Coaches keep who they think they need to win ball games down the road.

I do care if the team wins. You know how hard it was to watch the Jests last year and that atrocious "offense" they had.

If Tebow never plays a snap, I will still watch every Pats game. I know that doesn't make me a "real fan" and to be honest, I don't give a damn if you think that's terrible.

I will watch for my reasons, I post here for my reasons, and really I think it is very bully like for you to make a new thread just to try and call people out on what you think they are saying.

I'd put you on ignore, but then I'd miss all the stupid things you say in the Tebow thread.
That post was soooo gay on sooo many levels that I have no option but tho believe you have a man crush on Tebow. Bully like, to start a poll? My god pull your head out.

The Tebowites have come to this forum following him and now want him on the team despite the FACT that he has been the worst player on their roster to this point. Unlike Patriot fans they don't give one crap about this team and want him here over those who could actually help them win and they are completely unable to tell us what he has done to earn a spot, so i want them to make that argument instead of deflecting it, which is what they have been doing in the other thread. So yes, i am, putting them on the spot because they have steadfastly avoided the most important point in the other thread.

Had Tebow come into NE and played great and demonstrated that he had made big progress as a QB and could help them this season then I would be 100% for giving him a spot on this team, but he hasn't, and in fact has done just the opposite, so I don't want him on the team and think that those who do want it simply because they love him, which is the worst reason to keep a player.

So Fawn (are you a guy?), what's your obsession with Tebow? You sure like to talk a lot about him also.

I'll root for the Patriots like i have done my whole life and you have never done before, and pray like hell that he never sees the field before they release him.

Yet he remains..

It defies logic. Hell I already said that, but I don't think that's your issue. You have a problem with us even being here. You don't understand how people can be a fan of a player that just looks so.... bad. And for some reason you have to make another poll/thread about it, just so everyone hears you. We can't give answers that we don't have. You are asking for things we too want to know. I do at least.

this thread is starting to hurt my feelings...we need a little motherly love around here....

Tebow has been going backwards the last two years and was released by a team with a horrible QB who he couldn't come close to beating out, and his performance for the Patriots has been the worst of any player i have ever seen trying to make this team, so what he did in Denver is completely irrelevant. Acting in the best interests of this team is exactly what the Tebowites don't want, because that means he is cut.

Says the guy that comes here not as a pats fan, or tebow fan, just to talk Tebow.

Actually i was polite to the Tebow fans until he demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is a horrible QB, and only took issue with the Tebow fans when they continued to clamor for his presence on the team despite knowing full well that it would be a bad thing for the team. Unlike you my position is based upon his performance, yours is based on hero worship.

And as we've said, BB will act in the best interests of the team. So we will see. You obviously don't trust BB? Do you think he has ulterior motives?

Boy golly, you guys sure can't get enough of this Tebow guy. It's a good thing that all these clingy, obsessive, insecure, whining, Tebow thread starting, argumentative, religious zealots will go away in a week, and stop spamming the message board with 5000 threads about the 3rd string quarterback...

It's like these crazy nutjobs are just spamming the board with Tebow threads, til there's nothing else on the front page. It's almost like they're just looking for a fight, even while everyone else is just trying to get along. Buncha cancer spewing fanatics, those ones...

BTW... you are going to stop talking about Tebow eventually... right...?

When pressed on this subject the other day BB did say he does factor in experience, past performance etc.

Absolutely, but don't worry, Argonauts fans will be there for you to talk to, and then there is always the Arena League.
