Pats-Raiders, 2001-02 Division game. Now (noon-3, Sat 3/23) on NFLN. Thinking the Tuck RUle vote last week has something to do with this. Still fun to watch.

Much appreciated. Recording now. Better late than never.

Antowain & O.T.I.S. Smith were great! Even though they weren't big name FAs. :)

Fun to see Seymour running around like a big ol' angry dog out there. I had forgotten he didn't start that game. Simms was just saying they're not sure why, but it seemed to light a fire under 93.

I wish they would take the NFL Draft preview off the sides of the screen. I want full use of my TV for this bad boy. Hellacious hit by Bruschi just now.

Goosebumps. 13-3 clocking ticking in the fourth. I remember starting to feel cold as the playoff excitement was paving way with desperation. Little did I know this would Be the last time I ever felt like that.

LOL!

Simms: "Whoa! Just got hit by a snowball. And I think I see the guy who threw it. Sorry, Greg. I think they were trying to throw it at you."

Amazing to see only 2:30 left, Raiders first down, and so much left to happen. IIRC, big fumble coming up by Troy Brown on the punt return, but Pats recover. (After a HUGE 3rd and short stop by Cox and Co.)

As an aside: Crowd hasn't exactly been rocking; maybe it's just the microphones.

Simms and Gumbel had no doubt Brady's fumble would stand.

Wow. Graphic said Vinatieri had missed four of last five from 40-49. Snow Bowl tying kick was 45. JUST made it.

Raiders get ball back, 22 seconds left, own 35. Take the knee. No guts, no glory.

I still say some team will get screwed this year by not having the tuck rule on a judgement call and I pray it's the Raiders.

Watching this again makes me forgive Wiggie for being such a tool on his media gigs. Monster game.

Redmond, Patton, and Wiggins were beasts in big moments that night

wanna win, Raiders? Stop them on 4th and 4!

super-fun to relive the game....i remember in 2001 being at a wild party in CT where a bunch of guys where watching a tv in the kitchen. when brady fumbled the kitchen cleared out, its over. i stuck around. 45 min later i returned to the dance floor to tell them all that the pats won, then didnt believe me!

also - kinda pissed they were calling it the Tuck Rule Game vs the Snow Bowl

Always love watching this game. Brady looked so young.....Brown straight up the gut on the punt return, similar to the next game where he took a punt to the house against Scaggsburgh.......

I was at that game and my friend n I were just about ready to leave following the "Tuck". LOL I'm glad we decided to stay to hear the ref's decision!!!

Either the Raiders or wherever Charles Woodson ends up, with all of the above being the most preferable.

I DVR'D it and I am rewatching it now. Two things stuck out that I forgot about. Troy Brown's two fumbled punts that could have changed everything and Phil Simms getting hit with a snow ball.

And I just witnessed the greatest field goal in NFL history. Thank you Adam.

And it all started from that one kick.
