Any thoughts to making Michael Williams an OL conversion project?

I think he could do it, but drafting a player and keeping him on the 53 for a conversion project is risky. If you drafted and used him as a TE and told him he'll eventually play tackle then I think it could be a great move.

What are the odds of a safety here? Things are gonna get ugly for ND

I'd be awfully tempted to turn Williams into a 300+ pound tight end, similar to Crumpler in his year in NE. He doesn't even need to be fast or quick at all, just be able to block like an offensive lineman, find holes in zone coverage 5 yards down the field, and catch.

...and he can be the 4th OT on the roster.

I don't think he needs to be 300lbs, he would already be one of, if not the best blocking TE's in the NFL. Although he does have the frame to add even more weight I don't think its really necessary. Unless of course you do want him as a primary blocking TE and an emergency swing tackle. Could certainly add more roster versatility.

Teos having a game to forget.

Wow, Hubbard, 6'6" SLB. Looking like prime Belichick bait :D

That's a shame. Thought Lewis-Moore was looking quite good.

Hope the big guy is okay

Eddie Lacy is really good. McCarron having a good night too.

What a spin move! I hope ND steps up in the 2nd half because they don't deserve to go out like this. They have been so good this year, hopefully they can show some fight.

Yeah, I'd rather maximize his best skill rather than worry about versatility. Since the Pats have Gronk and Hernandez, it's just about conceding that he'd block 90% of the time he's on the field, so I'd want him to be as good as it as possible. Heck, I'd be okay with him being a 340 pound blockingTE as long as he can catch:eek:

He's never been better than the third best player on their defense.

I've never bought into the idea of taking a relatively unathletic MLB with great intangibles in the top 10, much less the top 5. Product of the hype machine.

Now Tuitt and Nix ...

I'm re-watching the KLM injury play and it doesn't look good. He tries to jump and he right knee buckles inward (to the left.) I'm no doctor but it looks like a ACL and MCL to me. He's already grabbing it before his hits the ground. Again, I'm not a doctor.

Just awful.

And like 7 interceptions.

I still love Te'o, I think he is going to be a beast in the NFL. You can't deny that he is the heart and soul of that ND defense even if he isn't the most talented (which is debatable).
