In a kindergarden classroom in Newtown, CT. Reports of as many as 20 dead and more injured. At least 10 children reported deceased per CNN.

Thoughts and prayers...

Live stream, and the death toll is reported rising.

I'm literally sick to my stomach.

Those families have just entered hell. What an F'd up world.

Five-year-old and a six-month-old here. This has just sucked the life right out of me.

Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of the deceased and wounded, best wishes for full and complete recoveries for the injured, and also to those who'll be forced to deal directly with all the carnage. Their lives will never be the same. May God grant them the strength to handle the horror.

OMG- This is horrible. I have a 5 yrs old girl and this is a parents worst nightmare. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families.

kindergarten kids....what kind of scumbag even THINKS of something like this?...and it better not be "oh, poor little Johnny felt he just didn't fit in...that's why he murdered little children"....

We have a 12 and 8 yr old. Devastating. Not only for the children killed and their families, but for also for the 500 other little kids in that school who are now affected for a lifetime.

I cannot put words to it.

Got a five year-old and a two-year old. This is a punch to the gut...thoughts to those families and those kids. Terrible...

500 children???...try five million....the insanity has finally traveled east and reached us here in New England...24 years old, bulletproof vest, at least four weapons....you mean to tell me no one had any clue what this sick moron was up to?

Having a three year old and three month old, I cannot imagine having to go through this. My prayers are with all those affected, especially the parents, in this terrible time.

today, these days...you GOTTA tell your kids every day that you love them....that you will always love them...every day....you gotta find the time....I'm sick with sorrow for these children I do not even know....where does it end with these sick morons able to get weapons and wreak devastation in the lives of innocent people???
