Well if you decide to satisfy your curiosity and tour the Jets facilities make sure to obey the warning signs.

And whatever you do, do NOT get out of your car!

Is that picture from the parking lot at MetLife after a Rats loss?

Thanks.

I was not aware of this little gem.

That's brilliant planning by the Jets. They acquire Tebow and re-work Sanchez' deal so that they'd take a huge cap hit if he was cut, which also makes it difficult to bench him. Then they have Tebow's contract, which put them on the hook if they start him.

That leaves them with a QB they can't get rid of and a QB they can't play (not that he can play QB that well.)

No need to be snarky.

Those are obviously just monkeys.

You can easily tell the difference from a crowd of monkeys and a crowd of Jets fans by the intelligence in their eyes, grooming and greater personal hygiene to say nothing of the fact that monkeys tend to have better public behavior. ;)

You know, I was listening to Gresh & Zolak on my way into work today and they had Bert "I'm from Mass but not a Pats homer, and my buddy the NFL GM can vouch for that" Breer. They were having a great laugh at all of this Jets stuff but Breer would always find a way to say something positive about the Jets. Fair enough, same old crap from him.

Then he mentioned drafting philosophy and how giving up picks for "impact players" has left the Jets lacking depth - but "you could also look at the other extreme and you have the Patriots and you can say well they haven't gotten that player to knock down an Eli Manning pass or catch a ball to win a Super Bowl." Um, right, nice comparison: One team has been to five Super Bowls in 11 years and could well be on the way to another one this year; the other hasn't been to the 'ship in 40 years, missed the playoffs last year and is 3-6 this year while imploding from top to bottom. Yeah, you have to look at their philosophies as equally flawed.

In other news:

The New York Jets traded Mark Sanchez to the city of Los Angeles for a future seventh-round draft pick if a team ever moves there.

But seriously... Los Angeles would never go for this deal, would they? :D

There's a serious need for a online and weekly comic on Patsfans pertaining to the issue of Jetsuckitude.

The Jets just keep on giving.

Not that I would expect it here, but just in case anyone thinks we should lay off beating up on the Rats....

"I got an early birthday present 2 tickets to this game. My first regular season Jets game. Hoping to god we don't lose. If we do. I at least wanna see Brady on a cart."

How great would it be to see a 50+ blow out in front of a national audience? :D

Even a shut out would be a lot of fun!

prefers the shut out to the 50 burger. Just sayin'.

no matter what these Rats fans say...no matter how much they protest...no matter how much they woof...no matter how much they beg for injuries to enemy players...no matter how much or how little class they possess as individuals...there remains one proven universal constant..from which they will NEVER be able to break free ....branded by invisible fire on their very souls....

SOJ

same...old....Jets

same as it ever was.....

I tell you what. I propose that after Thanksgiving we put this thread officially to rest, because after THAT point the Jets will become utterly irrelevant and inconsequential for the rest of the season. And their fan base will no longer need to be a subject of ridicule, but rather abject pity.

After the game in NJ we really need to focus our attention to teams more germane to our own season and leave the Jets were they belong.....in the dust bin of this season's history.....before December.

no...I REFUSE to give up this delicious schadenfreude that surpasses fine chocolate in both flavor and addictiveness,

YOU can go on a diet...I'm gonna gorge myself on this smorgasbord of green pathos until I can gorge no more...

No actually that image was altered to protect the innocent. The original photo was taken at the residence of a Jets official. I have the original if you'd like...

What if we lose next week?

What if we lose next week?

If by some miracle the Jets have us on the ropes again, we can rest comfortably in the reality that Mark Sanchez will still be out there doing his absolute best to figure out a way and hand us the game. Whether that means coughing up a fumble instead of putting the game away with a field goal or something like this which results in an interception.

We got Tom and Mark on our side. And if they try to get cute and start Tebow, their own players will hurt him:D
