Is this blackmond guy any good?

Personally I think he's in the bust/over reach category myself, in the mold of Darius Heyward-Bey going at #7 overall a few yrs ago.

He certainly has talent, but I doubt whether it can be reached or not in the specific setting that he's in.

He also doesn't seem to be the smartest of young players either.

I personally think it's pretty clear who to root for here, but I don't think it's going to matter too much ;)

If you're referring to Vick Ballard and Rashard Jennings I totally agree with you

Heyward-Bey simply isn't a very good football player. He's fast and that's pretty much it. Blackmon couldn't give less of a ****, though. He's got all the ability in the world, but right now he's in a bad situation and he's pretty much tanking it, it seems.

watching gabbert is so painful

That is so close. Jags might've caught a huge break by having the on field call go their way, tough to overturn that in my mind

I took Doug Martin with my 4th overall pick this year. Everyone laughed at me and told me what a reach he was. The fact that he's absolutely tearing it up is just that much sweeter to me, due to the chuckles and the comments of "you could have had him a LOT lower than that, ya know??"

I know that Ballard was on people's radar this week, so good luck to you. I hope he tears it up.

I think it's a fumble.

I was faced with a decision to select Peterson or Martin. I went with AP. Either would have been a great pick up in retrospect.

The Muscle Hamster will be lucky to get past the first 5 picks next season. He legitimately looks like a feature back.

I've got Martin in a couple leagues too, singlehandedly won the last couple games for me. Glad you incorporated the BB strategy of not worrying about reaching for the guys you want, just make sure you get them!

I know that we always hear so much about "the call on the field," etc--and needing enough evidence to overturn it etc, but I don't think it matters nearly as much anymore as it initially did in the beginning.

If the replay shows something, that seems to be what they go with anymore (which is good)--call on the field be damned.

That should've been Luck's 2nd pick

I liked the fact that Tampa had already named him as their #1 bell-cow RB prior to the draft, which signified a lot of carries/touches to me.

The fact that he snags some receptions out of the backfield made it a no-brainer, as he seemed like a poor man's LeSean McCoy.

Now he's setting the bar for McCoy himself, although I certainly don't expect as much production from Martin in the upcoming games either.

"Muscle Hamster"---Love it!!! Goes to show that even the corniest of nicknames will stick with you :)

2 rushing TD's both to Luck. **** this game

Luck's name fits him so far tonight.

Mularkey looks irate.

Luck has a horseshoe on his helmet and up his arse...

Holy Crap are the Jags a BAD Football team!!!! The U of Alabama could kick their a##es right now!!! I also agree with whomever said it was time for the team to move....How embarrassing is it that you have a Thurs night game....and have TONS of empty seats.....Luck looks like the real deal.....Watch out for them this year....and many years to come......
