Happy Draft Week. We are 11 days from the Night 1 of the Draft. I have tagged all of you who played last season. For those lurkers who did not play last year but may be interested in betting the 2023 season, feel free to join us. You will begin with $200k when the betting starts Week 1. Many of you who played last year will be starting the regular season with slightly more than the $200k starting bank roll.
This Draft contest is an opportunity to build on your season bank roll and postion yourself to become our 3rd Champion. Please acknowledge our inaugural Champ, Pat the Pats Fan as well as our current defending Champ, Brandon Cox. You too could have the prestigious Dingleberry Casino Champion banner on your profile forever. Now it begins!
For those unfamiliar with betting, here is a brief explanation. (+100) means you win $100 for every $100 you bet. A $5k bet wins $5k. A $5k bet on (+500) odds would win $25k. Any questions, please ask.
FAIR WARNING. READ THE RULES CAREFULLY, ESPECIALLY #4.
The rules:
1. Everyone will be gifted $10k to bet. That's it. The smallest betting increment allowed is $1k. So, you can make as many as 10 bets and as few as 1 bet.
2. The betting begins now. No bets will be accepted after midnight Wednesday, April 26th. That's right. NO betting on draft day. The reason for this is simple. Too much news breaks on Draft day that causes the lines to jump like crazy. I am not going to try to keep up with those changes on Thursday. I do have a real job too.
3. I can update any of the lines any time between now and April 26th. If you love a particular line, jump on it. It may not last.
4. However, once you make a bet, you CANNOT change, edit, or cancel the bet. Once I "like" your post, it is official.
5. You do not need to participate in this contest to play the 2023 season. But it costs you nothing, so why wouldn't you?
6. You must bet your entire 10k at one time in one post. My partner in crime, venecol, has been MIA. He and a few of the Casino "ladies" disappeared in February and I do not expect them back for a few months. I will be tabulating these bets myself. You WILL make it easy on me by betting once and once only.
For those with ADHD: 10k, bets no smaller than 1k, all bets in one post, no canceling or changing bets, bet before Wed 26th midnight.
PRIZES:
1st Place - $25k
2nd Place - $15k
3rd - 5th Place - $10k
I may add or subtract the number of winners above depending upon the number of players we have in this contest. If I make any changes, they will be announced prior to the Draft.
