both sides appeared to have done the right thing
owners conceded some points on pension and compensation.....considering the financial health of the league, and how vital the regular refs have become to the integrity of the game, they SHOULD have conceded a little more money/better pension....these guys have a unique & vital skillset
the officials conceded the taxi squad/evaluation process.....as they should, can't complain if the evaluation system is fair and actually works to produce better officials......i am reading the officials will be involved in the creation of the processes and the actual evaluations, so this is good
good to see both sides made the necessary moves while still getting what they both need......good move by all, kudos to the federal mediator who helped get this done
somehow i think the Kraft faction of owners had more to do with getting this done than the Jones faction, but that's just me
