LOL! Santonio Holmes has a temper tantrum for being overworked in OTAs

Holmes has a 50 million dollar contract and is overtaxed running 25 OTA reps, without pads and with no hitting whatsoever. Way to be dedicated to your craft, Santonio!!
I think football is just a money maker to support his craft...

I realize you're being flippant, but this might actually be rather prescient. :)

-Jamman

He'd better be careful. Chad (I can sell PSLs) Ochocinco is available.

Here's the nightmare scenario. Tebow to Chad Johnson for the game winning score at Foxboro.

OK, I can't see it either, but you have to admit it it hypothetically possible.

If fairness to Santurdio, 35 snaps with the Jets' offense can be taxing. Let's break down the plays:

10 plays - Playing the decoy in the option with Tebow
15 plays - Run blocking for the Jets' mediocre RBs
10 plays -Sanchez overthrowing his receivers

If I was Holmes, I'd be frustrated too.

How can Jets fans stand being Jets fans??????

I'm serious. They must dread autumn.
And winter and spring and summer and days and nights and week-ends and holidays and Sundays and Mondays and...

Cimini also reported that the Jets offense was completely dominated by the defense yesterday. Both Sanchez and Tebow looked uncomfortable with the blitzing. In Cimini's words, they looked "terrible". In Barkley's words, they looked "turrible".

I don't buy into OTA reports so I can't crow about that. It is good that they look like crap, but it is a new offense that they are learning.

The one thing that is a potential concern for the Jets is that these OTAs favor the offense since there are no pads or contact. Usually, the offense outshines the defense in these practices.

Watch out, Kontra.

You're in danger of putting the old double-whammy, reverse, over the head, between the legs, flipadoodle backwards double twist curse with a somersault finish on the Patriots there.

The whole point of the offseason is for the Jets to act and play from April to June like they're going to win the SuperBowl and then fall apart when Training Camp and the season begin.

But, if they stink now, that might alter the very nature of the universe and give them a chance to be good in the fall.

I want to hear nothing but "Super Bowl Quality Practice and Teamwork" comments from the New York media and from Wrecks and the Sanchise this month!

Brand new offense, same defense. The defense had better dominate early. If it doesn't, the Jets might as well call off their season.

Sadly that is one mopre syllable than the Round Mound uses when he says that word. More like TURBLE

So is Hoyer to Wilfork, but its also just as likely.

I'd feel much, much worse seeing Sanchez throw to Holmes for a game-winning score in Foxboro.

Actually, I can see Hoyer to Wilfork as a late in a blow out, if Vince wants to play blocking TE or something.

But Tebow to Ocho would at least be guys at the right position. (Chad Johnson lines up wrong and isn't where he is supposed to be and Tebow's pass to where he is supposed to be is so bad it actually hits Chad.)

Every fiber of my being wants to laugh at this, but they kicked our ass in our own building last year in our most important game.

You guys have it easy, you can laugh at their foibles and have the wins against them to back it up. :(

This just in.....beep beep beep ba-beep beep... Santonio Holmes just traded in an even swap for Steve Johnson......*crackle*...bzzzzt...brappppp...*fazzle*....check that...he's been traded for Steve's johnson...one **** for another...word out of NY is Wrecks "Toe Master" Cryan plans to use Steve's johnson to impregnate the still virgin Tim 'Hermaphro" Tebow in the hopes of producing a brood of wildkitties with awesome straight line speed...

Patience, young Grasshopper, for the Jets of New Jersey have beaten the Patriots of New England in important games as well.

It is only multiple wins in the Super Bowl that allow the mighty truly to delight in the foibles of the inept. One day you too may enjoy that right, but hopefully not in my lifetime.

The guy behaves so stupidly around the football field that it makes you really wonder if it isn't really Watson solving all those mysteries.
