Interesting...Wayne has a couple of season's left in those legs..like i posted in the other threads, I like Lloyd, because of his familiarity with McD
Anybody think we make a move for Reggie Wayne?
He's a Free Agent. Peyton will surely be gone. Wayne doesn't want to go through the whole rebuilding phase at this point in his career. Will want to play for a contender.
I think Lloyd can be a very solid choice, if his price is reasonable. He would give a 4 across of Lloyd/Welker/Hernandez/Gronk, and would allow the team to look for a 5th WR who could be either a Branch-style replacement or another middle-deep receiver.

Lloyd is NOT coming to New England.
************! What's this stupid obsession? LOL.... We weren't even willing to cough up a 5th rounder for Lloyd this year. We could've easily have had him if we wanted to, but Belichick passed on him.
The New England Patriots can have both wide receivers. The New England Patriots don't have to re-sign the following players:I was thinking this last month when McD got freed up from the Rams...Lloyd follwed him to the Rams because he WANTED to be in Josh's system...it's not hard to believe the Pats may hard ball Welker and offer Lloyd a substantial contract...the slot WR is important but with Hernandez and Gronk operating around the middle I see a defense stretching veteran WR as a practical no brainer
