Eli over Brady?

eli has absolutely thrusted himself into that catagory whether you want to admit it or not, is no skin off my back.

I said multiple times overall for a full season I'd take Brady. Coming down to one game in the superbowl, its a coin flip.

This is a fair assessment if you ask me. Eli is pretty clutch and has improved.

and if u would of played Pitt u prob would of been one and done

Not against those old wash up hags on defense and broke down Roethlisberger, who would've suffered the same fate as Tebow against the Pats pass rush.

and if ur aunt had balls she'd be your uncle

or a transexual, but who's arguing that?

Eli's not elite.
Eli's not top 5.

Eli's season was not as good as Schaub's season.
Eli's season was not as good as Stafford's season.

Simple truths. Carry on.

BRADY DROVE THE TEAM DOWN THE FIELD IN 2 MIN DRILLS TO GET INTO POSITION TO WIN THE GAME.

You don't seem to have a brain.

now whose being subjective and selective?

You guys don't view things with the same judgement. Alot knocks u have on Eli can be applied to the PAts. I keep getting the TEAMS WIN SUPERBOWLS...

but when theres talks about Brady specifically, its HE won the superbowls and how dare we put Eli on his level.

Then theres talks about Eli and its BACK TO A TEAM GAME.

Nobody wants to mention how good ur defense was during your 3 superbowl wins. Why aren't we talking about how for the first two superbowl runs your defense averaged giving up 17 points in the playoffs and that your average margina of victory was 4.5 points?

The inconsistencies of your arguments is laughable

Check out pro-football-reference.

im very familiar with it but they only give u the guy who had the best QB rating for years that long ago - what page did u get it on

I'll ask you this...Why were the Giants 9-7 this year? You'll say bc of injuries in a team game. I'll respond with "If it's a team game, why do you claim Eli better than Rivers in a team sport even though River's numbers are 10x better?"

Your argument is so circular and ignorant that it's hilarious.

Re: Qb

The way you try to pick and choose, and then flip your arguments, should be embarrassing to you. "It's the defense" when Dilfer gets to the Super Bowl, but it's Rivers who's been unsuccessful when you want to knock him, even when it was the Chargers defense costing games.

you can try to make it seem that way but ur the only person in the world that wouldn't suggest that it was the defense that made the Ravens year that year and your the only person thats watched the Giants games that would suggest Eli didn't take us on his back this year.

Its evident you cna't handle the truth and thats fine, i'm just curious what your excuses would be if we win this game and Eli plays lights out. Im sure you'll have more garbage

Pats as a TEAM won superbowls, no doubt.

Brady put on a CLUTCH performance that led to game-winning FGs. Now Brady himself didn't kick the FG, so I would assume that you would assume it was a TEAMMATE who kicked the FG and helped them to victory.

But then again your love for the overrated Eli has clouded your judgment.

Brady was three seasons into his career by the time he had won two superbowls. He hardly had a Hall worthy career at that point but he also had a whole career in front of him. Again, it took much longer for Brady to cement his legacy.

okay so if Eli wins this one, he'll only have ONE less than Brady did by this point in his career while hes JUST entering the prime of his career

okay, so are you applying that theory against Brady's early superbowls?

Absolutely! Despite being a key factor he didn't do it single-handed.

Man, Eli has made the jump from underrated to overrated quicker than anyone else I can recall in sports history. I like the guy, but the hype has become too much to handle.

Not at all. I'm 100% behind the notion that it was the Ravens defense that carried that team to the Super Bowl. That's precisely the point trying to be made to you. The problem is that you prefer to act willfully ignorant.

and your the only person thats watched the Giants games that would suggest Eli didn't take us on his back this year.

Nonsense. Many have commented on the significant improvement in the Giants defense now that Osi is back and Tuck is playing better. If you want to congratulate Eli for "carrying" his team to about a 7-7 record before the defense started stepping up, you go for it.

Its evident you cna't handle the truth and thats fine, i'm just curious what your excuses would be if we win this game and Eli plays lights out. Im sure you'll have more garbage

I'm posting truth. You're claiming it's about team (defense) when it's the Ravens and about QBs the rest of the time. Then again, you also had the excuses for Eli earlier on, so the whole "excuses" line of yours is just a crock anyway.

No. We own the Steelers. Steelers completely changed their game plan on defense, something they had never run against us for the last decade.

howdo u own them? your 1-2 in ur last 3 vs them and u lost this year?

By tomorrow, Eli will have become the greatest player in the history of sport. Welcome to the stupidity of the NY media and fans.

Bradshaw played in 12 games. Jacobs played 14. Explain how they "basically missed the whole season".

Idiot.

6 games, on top of leaving a few for the whole game, plus bradshaw was on limited carries at the end of the year.

They were held back alot and then mix in the fact that our starting LT got IR'd and Baas missed alot of time. Snee missed time as well.

Nicks, Cruz, Manningham isn't a worse group than Megatron, Burleson, Young.

I agree..

BUT CALVIN JOHNSON IN A DOME is what QBs pray for. If u have that it will open EVERYTHING up. I mean christ, he was throwing it into quadruple coverage and Tron was still making grabs

He might very well end up in the Hall of Fame, but watching Eli play I never had the feeling I was witnessing a Hall of Famer.

well you haven't seen enough giants football and if he wins you'll be in the minority

howdo u own them? your 1-2 in ur last 3 vs them and u lost this year?

Brady is 6-2 all time against the Steelers, with a 66 completion% and 104 passer rating. Oh, we also beat them twice, in Pittsburgh, in the AFCCG. If that's now 'owning', I don't know what is.
