Do you really think people care what the lyrics to 'classic' hits are? Hell, people make up their own half the time.

Pop star Gary Glitter has been jailed for four months after admitting to a collection of 4,000 hardcore photographs of children being abused.
The BBC's Stephen Cape reports: "Gary Glitter is tonight behind bars"
The admission comes just hours after the rock idol was cleared of eight counts of sexually assaulting a teenage fan nearly 20 years ago.
Solicitor Henri Brandman said Glitter would appeal against the sentence. He will be placed on the sex offenders register.
Reappearing at Bristol Crown Court, Glitter admitted 54 offences of downloading porn from the Internet dating between 3 January 1997 and 18 November 1997.
(AP) A Vietnamese court on Friday sentenced former British glam rocker Gary Glitter to three years in prison for molesting two Vietnamese girls, with the judge condemning him for "disgusting and sick" behavior.
Glitter, 61, whose real name is Paul Francis Gadd, was found guilty of committing obscene acts with two girls, ages 10 and 11, at his rented seaside villa in southern Vung Tau last year.
The former rock star showed no emotion while the verdict was read but threw the court into disarray by proclaiming his innocence afterward.
As hard as Gronk spikes the ball, he needs his own TD music. Quiet Riot's cover of "Cum on feel the noize" seems like it would work.

You guys are posting music that you personally like and want to hear, how about pumping up the players and infusing NEW music. The league I would assume listens more rap on their iPods than anything.
I would use some Lil' Wayne songs (He has a ton of football related raps, he is a HUGE NFL fan). I imagine that would pump up the players a lot more than some 30 year old song you play at a kiddie party.
Examples: (I know, most of you people probably hate rap. I am 38 and like it very much, learn to adapt )
Lil Wayne - Im a Go Getta (NEW 2009 Rebirth LYRICS DOWNLOAD LINK) - YouTube
Lil Wayne - 4th & Inches - YouTube
Lil Wayne - NFL Forever - YouTube
In this day and age, I think this would be more appropriate. Just sayin....no guy fresh out of College listens to 30 year old music :bricks:
Or we could all just stick nails in our ears which would be less painful.
I think the crowd is mostly hard rock/classic rock, the players are mostly hip-hop/rap ... So, the mix should be heavy on both, with a little bit of other stuff tossed in for variety.
**** the World-Insane Clown Posse
Wrong! I've heard it at several road games, Denver being one. Glitter is a perv, not the tune. It has always been the TD tune and I have not heard one that can replace it so far.
I know that the NFL requested that it not be played a few years ago, but several teams did not go along with it or decided to bring it back.
And for the post with all the Boston bands- you forgot NKOTB.
I hope you just forgot to add the sarcastic smiley....please say that is what happened with this post.
That song is terrible and it is the worst thing that has ever happened to Fenway. Some People actually think that they have singing that song there since it came out.....
I'm 100% serious. When I am in the stadium, I want to waive my pink Patriots hat in the air and sing that wonderful song. Winning or getting blown out, it will only enhance the experience. You know if the Pats are down by three TDs, 66,000 people singing that classic will only lift the players' spirits and make them play better.
Seriously, how can anyone think this is a bad idea. Sweet Caroline played a huge part in turning Red Sox fans from miserable negative people to a happy appathetic bunch. Pats fans are just too negative. We need some pink in this fanbase.
