Fan's Pro Bowl Voting Results

Patriot players did great in the fan voting, which is one third of the overall vote. Brady, Gronk, Welker, Carter, and Mankin's finished first at their respective postions. Hernandez was actually second to Gronk at tight end. We had a bunch of guys finish in the top 5 at their positions:

Pro Bowl final fan results - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

Brady - drafted
Gronkowski - drafted
Hernandez - drafted
Light - drafted
Mankins - drafted
Wilfork - drafted
Chung - drafted
Gostowski - drafted
Mesko - drafted
Slater - drafted

Too bad the Patriots can't draft!

i'd prefer none of them make the pro bowl. it makes things more difficult when contract talks start. "Player A" makes probowl, then uses that as leverage to get more money, then we have less money to spend on positions of need, and then the team is not as good.

Did Barwin make the Pro Bowl??

That's pretty good for Chung getting voted in considering he had been nicked up early and just plane ole out as of late. Good for him.....

Chung wasn't voted in, he's 5th at his position in fan voting, and with how much time he's missed there is no way the coaches and player send him.

Likely Patriot starters when all is said and done (by title at least, most will probably decline the invite/hopefully be playing in a 3rd playoff game):

Offense:
Tom Brady
Wes Welker
Rob Gronkowski
Aaron Hernandez
Logan Mankins
Matt Light
Brian Waters (I believe Coaches/Players will see what fans did not, still 4th in fan voting)

Defense:
Andre Carter (Assuming he will still get voted in despite injuries)
Vince Wilfork
Kyle Arrington (Least likely, but he does lead the league in INT's and has the 2nd lowest passer rating against, only beaten by D. Revis)

Special Teams:

Patriots will have 10 probowlers this season the way I see it, I don't see anymore making it in as backups, mostly starters.

Edit: Mayo is possible to make it through coach/fan voting. How many ILB/MLBs do they take for the pro-bowl? Lewis is probably a runaway #1, but do they line up in the 43 or 34? If two go Mayo is possible, the AFC doesn't have too many star ILB's.
