This is no biggie to me. Belichick decided that Williams should get a few reps at backup safety, and that Moore wasn't needed.

It is irrelevant that patsfans poster think that Moore was an adequate starter. Belichick clearly disagrees.

I do think that this means that Chung will play, although I could see us starting Jones at safety.

Mack - it helps to watch the games. This is false. Brace has been out there on goal line stands since coming off the PUP. He's also out there on a couple of special teams things..

Context: Sterling Moore had more snaps and more tackles in one game than Brace has all year. He occasionally serves as a sandbag on the goal line. He has 0 solo tackles and 2 assists on the year. Thank God we have him.

I think we've seen the last of the juggling secondary lineup. The last four games of the season has traditionally seen an increase in intensity as teams make a run for the playoffs.

It should also be noted that Williams isn't a newcomer. He's been a practice squad guy on and off since the beginning of the season.

Just shows that as bad as these guys are, sanders was WORSE. Maybe BB thought he could coach up some good athletes to be better than the slow, sluggish Sanders. Slow as molasses in wintertime. Guess he overestimated his abilities?
