It's easy, and only takes a few moments....Dave Thomas was such a world beater in that one game and than virtually disappears for the remaining game? It seems many were saying his blocking skills were really good too but he wasn't otherwise involved in the offense against the Titans.

Some very good answers have accumulated - uh oh, I'm having a senior moment and lost the cogent and highly insightful point I intended to make, I'm going to be awful when I do get to be a senior!...Dave Thomas was such a world beater in that one game and than virtually disappears for the remaining game? Because every game is different and the opposing D has different weaknesses we can exploit, and every game different players are focused on.. kinda like using the no huddle offense, can't do the same thing every time, Brady will get killed.. we have so many weapons, difficult for teams to predict what we will do and who will be key. Just having him on the field, makes the D think they have to cover him.
you mean like Heath Evans' 100+yd game last season?

Your post does highlight complaints posted quite often about players who make good plays or have good games and then appear to disappear, no 'must force the ball to Supermouth' on this team. :rocker:
he didnt actually get 100 yards, it was like 89. but it felt like a 100+
84 rushing
18 receiving
made me look it up though
and also reminded me of Mike Cloud's game against the Titans in 2003 in which he had 73 yds and 2 tds on 7 carries...
I remember Cloud. I thought he was going to be our next HoF'er too. For one or two games, that is.
Yeah, I was just watching the '03 season highlights. What ever happened to that guy?? Heard he had a drug problem or the like (?). Anybody know?

I believe your point was going to be "It's all Josh McDaniels fault, since he is solely responsible for every offensive play and its success or failure."Some very good answers have accumulated - uh oh, I'm having a senior moment and lost the cogent and highly insightful point I intended to make, I'm going to be awful when I do get to be a senior!
I don't know...it not only doesn't feel right, but my patchy memory is matching the concept with the odors from the gut barrel truck outside the slaughterhouse...no, I don't think this was my point, but I appreciate the help.I believe your point was going to be "It's all Josh McDaniels fault, since he is solely responsible for every offensive play and its success or failure."
