No mention of Pryor's injury? He played a couple snaps early in the game and was out since.

Re: Injuries tonight

Chung went back in with a cast.

Barrett turns out to have been playing with a cast already.

DB M*A*S*H unit

Here we go again. Before the SD game, the injury report included:

Josh Barrett S --- Thumb --- Limited --- Probable
Leigh Bodden CB -- Back --- Limited --- Probable

It turns out that Barrett is playing in a cast.

Chung left the SD game with a "hand" injury and came back in a cast.

The extent of Dowling's and Arrington's injuries seems unknown as I write this.

We already have more DBs who seem in one way or another hurt than ones who are still fully healthy, 2 games into the season.

And one of the healthy ones, McCourty, has played a bit below expectations, although there are several plausible explanations for that other than "small, undisclosed injury he's playing through".

What about Dowling? I am as worried about that one as Hernandez.

Was a good win...but came at a cost

damn, this game took quite a bit from us in terms of injury. Let us see who turns up ok from the injured list next week @ Buffalo

If they have to sit Hernandez next week i am not too worried..rather have this guy for 2nd half of season

Re: DB M*A*S*H unit

Bodden also playing with a cast on his hand btw.

Re: DB M*A*S*H unit

This is still better than last year when Bodden was out for the year and we were depending on Wilhite, Butler, Meriweather and Sanders.

Re: DB M*A*S*H unit

Quick -- call Troy Brown!

Seriously, I'm more concerned with the (lack of) pass rush than the DB.

Re: DB M*A*S*H unit

I wonder if BB makes a call to Troy Brown or Earthwind Moreland...

Re: DB M*A*S*H unit

if we were stopping defenses prior to all these injuries id be worried, but we werent stopping anyone so whateva

when 1 of MY favorite players gets hurt I can't get used to it:mad:

you gotta stop with the dramatics. it's incredibly annoying. Injuries happen. He'll be back next week or the next. you need to relax a bit.

Are you saying our secondary is a 'cast' of characters?

Maybe Belichick went for it on 4th and 4 because punting it a net 30-40 yards is pointless when Jackson or RB dumpoffs will make that back in two plays. Seemed to work out fine.

I wish I hadn't said anything.

I'm tired of my posts getting moved and buried in partly-related threads.

I was actually looking for Meriweather out there today to at least hit one of the SD WRS while Barrett and Arrington were whiffing. But at this point I would just settle for 50-odd year old Brian Cox.

Is Miller still in the league?

Always liked him
