Rivers over Brady
WOW - guess I'll edit my Subject . . .Seymour is the ONLY PATRIOT ON THE ROSTER!!!!!!!
Ouch. Manning, Palmer, and Rivers in the pro bowl over Tom. I have to take issue with Rivers over Tom, and I think Tom agrees with me.
Why would he agree with you? Brady has not been great this year. He's been good, steady, but not great. Rivers has been good also, but because Rivers is on the best team in the league, he gets the nod...I have no issue with that and I doubt Brady cares.
Brady has more yards and more TDs than Rivers. Plus I was just being tounge-in-cheek about Tom agreeing with me. Obviously I don't talk to him on the regular . Also, has Rivers been anything but good/steady? This isn't the Heisman, I don't care what the Chargers record is.
10 Chargers - I guess we have no chance if we play that stud laden team

No backups
In a bit of a surprise, the Patriots had no backup players voted to the AFC Pro Bowl roster.
QB Tom Brady, CB Asante Samuel, DE Ty Warren and NT Vince Wilfork were thought to be among the players who had a solid chance for a Pro Bowl selection.
The AFC and NFC rosters can be found on NFL.com.
DT Richard Seymour was the only Patriots player selected to the Pro Bowl.
