Ugliest Win in Brady-Belichick Era

Week one win over the Chiefs in 2008 was an ugly win. ...

...
Took mine.

Definitions of "ugly" here vary, but it was a game I stopped caring about the outcome. "Caring going in, but not going out," is my definition of ugly.

Was that the game where Moss, instead of turtling without Tommy, put Cassel on his back?

Great choices everyone, named a lot I was going to mention.

Nice to see a thread not about the labor negotiations. (Not that that's anyone's fault, that's all thats going on now...)

Yeah, Cassel came in and on his very first snap the Pats had the ball on their own 1 or 2 yard line. Nobody expected him to be given an opportunity to throw long that deep in their own territory but after two runs for no gain he hit Moss on a 50-yarder on the next play. Moss ended up with a TD and over 100 yards but the game wasn't over until the Pats stopped KC on a 4th & goal in the last minute when Deltha O'Neal  deflected a pass to Dwayne Bowe.

2005 I think it was when they beat the Bills with two tds in the 4th. Exciting end to the game for us but it was one ugly win.

Remember this last season against the Packers with the all mighty unstoppable Matt Flynn as the QB. It took until the final minute in the 4th quarter until we finally stopped him. Ridiculous

2003 versus the Texans. Needed 14 minutes and 19 seconds in overtime to secure the win on a 28 yard field goal. I think Santos (I think) closed the broadcast with the line, "lets get the heck out of here".

I second this as it was the first game that popped in my head when I read the OP's thread title.

That was U-G-L-Y.
