No matter who they play in the first round...Colts or Chiefs...the Jets season will be over next weekend.
Beat Indy in Indy, then beat NE in NE, then beat Pitt or Balt in Pitt or Balt? Ok.
The Jets were 2-4 against .500 teams with 1 of those on the road (and barely beating a host of mediocre to bad teams). So why wouldn't everyone believe the Jets will play far better than they have all season and go to the SB?
I think they would beat the Chiefs but seeing as how the Chiefs have just gone ass backwards into the playoffs and will probably be getting decimated by the Ravens, I see the Jets losing to Indy.
3 - 6 seeding next year needs to be based on record, so hopefully Seattle wins tonight and creates momentum towards that. A team with the Chiefs record against .500+ teams should not be a four seed.
KC definately did not play as well the past few months...but, KC is a tough place to win. Those fans are some of the loudest in the NFL and will no doubt will be a 12th player.
I just have no confindence that Sanchez will go into someone elses stadium and win. He's not a very good QB and although it might be a close game...KC is on the rise and should be able to win 1 game in these playofffs.
Cassel is still recovering from his appendectomy. I would love to see the Jets back in Foxboro...but just can't see it happening.
Why do we continue to engage this clown?
