Let's hope OL holds up, Jets DL is gunning for Brady

Hahaha rock on Jenkins, way to make *extra sure* that the refs will be watching for late/dirty hits. Stupid, fat slob = good for the Pats.

He should be more worried about seeing if his own knees can make it through a full game, at this point. Tearing his ACL doesn't even require going after him, he might just tear it getting out of bed tomorrow morning.

Even without two blockers like Crumpler and Gronkowski on the edges, the Pats still smoked the Jets the last time we played them. I'm not worried about it. Gun for Brady and I'm sure our defense will gun for Sanchez. The scary thought about that, though, is that knocking Sanchez out of the game might actually HELP the Jets more than hurt them.

Good point. I think we have a defensive gameplan: keep Sanchez in the game.

With all the Jet's rhetoric, pretty confident that Goddell will give the Jets a strong warning...

The NFL has a lot of cash riding on Brady's health....

No it doesn't. Otherwise, why was Bernard Pollard not fined even one penny?

Fuhgeddaboud the J-E-S-T, this lousy OL might get Brady IR'ed against the Bungles.

Jenkins versus <<< insert name of the Patriots left guard here >>>>>

Key matchup to watch in week 2

It's true that I've written more negative comments than positive ones; but more bad things have happened to this franchise than good things over the last half-decade.

The fact remains: this OL (& the OLBs) inspires less than zero confidence from me.

Without a solid OL to open holes for RBs & to protect the QB, and Pass-Rushers to Kill the QB, this team - or any team - has no hope of doing anything in the POs.

The defense will be much better this year...... It starts up the middle and effects the edge, not vice versa. Now on Offense there are looming question in the Gaurd box. Fortunately it would seem that the aquisitions mainly through utilizing three TE's should help the O. But until they actually start calling offensive plays I will remain cautiously optimistic.

Kris Jenkins is a fat windbag...big deal. We know how their defensive scheme works and We should drive for at least 5-6 TD's.

The Jets defense won't win this battle.

I could not disagree with that any more than I do. Sure there have been some downs, but there have been way more ups. I'm glad that I'm a positive person, it must be difficult to be otherwise.

Kris Jenkins is a latter day Warren Sapp. Big-mouthed arrogant a-holes. Couldn't stand the latter, can't stand the former.

I don't hate you. I hate that I love you.

In what bizzarro world do you live in? In the last half-dacade, the Pats have had double digit wins every season, four division titles, been to two AFC Championships, been to one Super Bowl, had a perfect regular season, Brady set the passing TD record, Moss set the receiving TD record. Every team in the NFL except for three or four would have traded their team's last half decade for the Pats' last half-decade. The only teams who have had better last half decade than the Pats are the Steelers, Colts, Giants, and Saints. No other team has done better.

Only spoiled and entitled Pats fans would claim that more bad things have happened to the Pats than good over the last half decade. By your definition anything short of Super Bowl wins are bad things. Sorry it doesn't work that way in the NFL.

If you want Super Bowls every year, stop being a fan because life in the NFL doesn't work that way. Look at the 49ers. The 49ers who have four Super Bowls had a five year break between their second and third Super Bowl with Walsh and Montana. And then they went another five years between their third and fourth. And the 49ers are considered one of the greatest dynasties in football.

Go explain to the fans of about two dozen other teams how tough we've had it over the last five years.

Antonio Cromartie should care about Tom Brady, he will be facing that offense twice this year. Maybe he does not have time to think about it right now, he has to be busy trying to find where all his children are.
