It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Yeah, the Pats traded the 25th pick in the 3rd round for what could be the first pick in the second round next year. Well, it is doubtful that the Panthers will be the worst team in the NFL, but they could realistically net the Pats a top 10 pick in the second round next year.
A Jets poster just figured out BB's draft strategy:
"The New England Patriots, through a series of draft trades resulting in the accumulation of later round and future draft picks, will own EVERY PICK in the 2017 NFL Draft. Its gonna be epic!"
This is one of the pratfalls of splitting the first round from the second and third.
More like their own team screwed them.
Ack. I wanted Ricky Sapp.
And I did NOT particularly want a WR.

After our 8-8 2010 season, we can reload stud DE and prob RB in 2011. Things are looking up. :bricks:

Kinda funny. This time yesterday most people were ready to run Belichick out of town. Twenty-four hours later, everyone is in love with the draft. This is one of the pratfalls of splitting the first round from the second and third. Too much overraction over one pick.
Amazing draft only two minor problems.
1. Maroney is the starting runningback.
2. Who the hell is playing LDE?
