The Pats might start trading picks tomorrow for veterans. A lot of veterans reportedly on the trading block for cheap. They may give up a fifth or sixth for someone.

Whether or not the Patriots make a great pick or get great value in a trade .... they still make it painful to watch the draft

For the life of me, I just can't understand this mindset. We are BY FAR the MOST interesting team to follow on draft day.

Some teams start off with seven picks and never move at all. We move up, move down, acquire picks for next year. We do everything.

At the end of the day we'll end up with five or six of the top 100 players and probably stockpile a few picks for next year so we can do it all again in 2011.

The team that stands pat ends of with 3 of the top 100 players. BB's methods net us five of the top 100 and set us up to do it year in and year out and somehow there are idiot fans like yourself that complain about it.

WOW....just WOW.....Please God, stop being so thrifty when handing out intelligence.

maybe BB thinks the draft is a crap shoot and having more picks is better than having few top picks....

Don't know about a stat but I've heard them say the 3rd round has the best value.

I think there is something to drafting 10 "good" players then 2 stars and 8 scubs...if you hit on 1/2 of the good players you've made a good haul.
