what makes the jets situation so much more enjoyable are the fans who are ripping their hair out

Harlow and Sims weren't busts though. Sims was often injured, but in two of those years, he played outstanding for the Patriots. In the Super Bowl year, he was a key cog. For being the #1 choice you can call him a bust. A lot more was expected.

The Freemen McNeil and Blair Thomas choices by the Jets fall in the saem category. Thomas was an outstanding RB but he tore his ACL, MCL and PCL and was never the same.

That said, they generally didn't have maniacal fans lined up to be disappointed on live TV the way the JEST do.

but like tank said you can say this about every team in the NFL in 1996 Lawrence Phillips, was the 6th over all pick. but Ray Lewis, was 26th a lot of teams missed on that one.
