Oh, can anyone identify with this after that game?

Another nail biter. I hope they can get back to "running up the score". But, a W is a W.

Nail biter?? I actually made one of my fingers bleed :)

this

One mistake and people are calling it game over.

The only thing that got me frustrated this game were the offsides penalties and the playcalling on our last drive. Our defense makes a tremendous stand, gives the offense a chance to put the game away and we burn a quick minute and give it back.

Those offsides penalties came because Flacco was mixing up the snap count (that was a strategy Balt came in with, knowing well how young our D is).

However we did a much better job in the 2nd half.

Pats d gave up just 14 points today......I'm liking that, against a team that had scored almost 40 a game.

Don't think it was classless. They are friends and Belicheck vouched for Harbaugh during his interview process with us.

Good game guys.. We didn't deserve to win this game, but we almost earned it at the end. Hopefully, it is different next time.

BTW We were unbelievably unbalanced in that game, I think it would have been a little bit different if we didn't mistake our identity.

Great game- Ravens are legit, but the Pats were clearly the better team today. Ravens posters- you guys were collectively the most engaging, and knowledgeable fans I've seen come to this board. I hope a couple of you stick around, it was great having you guys here this week.

Also, I was wrong about the run defense. I said that if we stopped the Ravens' ground attack, I'd admit it, and aside from that one 50 yarder, we shut em down. This defense is legit, and it's finally showing how much our secondary held us back these last couple years. No way the 07 or 08 Pats blitz on the second-to-last Ravens drive like they did today, and that's a direct result of faith in the secondary.

Meriweather was by far the best player on the field today, IMO, on either side of the ball. Bodden might have been #2.

I don't hate them for jumping lol. I just thought they seemed a little to jump happy

Suggs press confernce, roughing the passer, refs protect some QBs more than others, with a smirk....

What? They called a similar roughing on Wright. What's he complaining about?

No suggs got called for either stumbling into or intentionally going low on Brady. It wasn't huge but if Brady hadn't seen it coming and moved it could have been

Suggs is an idiot. The first roughing the passer called against Baltimore was questionable, but the second one--the one that was called on Suggs--was blatant. It may or may not have been intentional, but either way it was an obvious penalty to anyone with a pair of eyes. He needs to suck it up and admit that his team just didn't get it done today. Not the end of the season, and they need to just move on.

I'm sorry but the D SUCKED the last drive against the birds. They were flying through the first half perfectly and then...... what happened?

If it had been a mistake/trip I don't think Suggs would've arched his neck straight ahead as he dove in. That was one of the dirtier shots that spring to mind during the last few years.

Barring the 50-yard run by Rice they were flying through the first 3.5/4 quarters.

What a great game. It could have went either way there. The Ravens really impressed me. Flacco's the real deal.

However, our defense really did a great job shutting down a top-notch offense. They got a lucky break at the end with Clayton dropping the pass, but the break only happened because Butler made some nice plays at the end as well.

1- The D is playing well today. They made some plays. I have been impressed with our D when they hold our opponents under 15 pts. It's a good sign.Brady's fumble doesn't count.

2-Our redzone is good today. TB threw the ball accurately. Our O is getting better. I don't like a close game.

Beautiful game guys, well done.

You guys have any room for me on the Merriweather bandwagon? Looks like Ed Reed 2.0

Well, here is another one that will be played on for years to come. I wish we would have ran the ball more, but we were in position for a chance at victory in the end we came up short. Joe put the ball on the money Clayton wont sleep well tonight.

again,Great game guys! Tom is back! Good luck for the rest of the season and thanks for having me.

Patriots are a damn good team, not that I thought otherwise before.

You guys are classy in defeat, which really says a lot. Kudos to you.

I mentioned Meriweather as one of my "under the radar" guys who is emerging as a pro bowl caliber player. Another guy I mentioned, Ty Warren, came up big. Our athleticism and speed on defense was the difference in the 4th quarter, and saved us. Darius Butler came up huge on 2 key plays.

Your team played well enough to win, against a top opponent. I have no doubt that you are a championship caliber team, and the best all around Ravens team I have ever seen. I started a thread to acknowledge the Ravens and how good they are:

I live in Baltimore but have never been a Ravens fan, because they have always impressed me as a "punk" team with an attitude and without discipline. I am a Pats fan through and through (going back to the early '70's), but I will be following the Ravens with much more interest. They are a worthy team.

Our D didn't play well in the second half compared to the first half. They STOPPED fourth down from Ravens.

Terrell Suggs......started out real classy in his post game PC and then bought into the media's bait........."Maybe we'll play two hand touch with the QB's from now on"......"Hey its a rule they put in to protect the QB's....of course SOME QB'S more than others (with a smirk)".........Did the Pats get all the favorable "spots" on the field "Yeah you could definitely say that.....you could definitely say that".......wow.....what a case of Red *****!!!! Gotta win the game Terrell.......In his defense he did call the Pats a great football team.....and said "you can't let an offense like that get out to that kind of lead".....but in the end......sore a##ed loser!!!
