8 sacks for a 3-4 D-End is very very good. His primary job is to take up blockers and stop the run.
That's right. Put a healthy AD behind him all year and that side is inpenetrable.

Seymour had 8 sacks, thats not all that great. All i know is that when this team cant get a damn pass rush next year, dont complain!!!
My thoughts exactly.I am not flaming here.Seymour is getting up there in age and like i said, Bruschi is on his last leg.

Seymour isnt Dwight Freeny, he is not in his league.Seymour dissapears in alot of games.I wanted this team to get an athletic DE/OLB.
Sorry, but there is only a perceived hole at a position. And its perceived by fans, not necessarily the Patriots Staff. And that is what you and every one else who is b!tching and moaning need to remember. in fact, You can ***** and moan and yell and scream and complain until you get blue in the face, but it doesn't mean that you know what BB and the staff are thinking.

Fine, there's no hole at the OLB position and Woods, Tully (who we let go because he couldn't hold the edge when relied upon full time) and Redd are capable of filling in for Vrabel. It's the same argument I heard with respect to the WR corp in '05.

^What about him? Excellent college player who's coming back from IR as a rookie and who's done nothing in the league.
