No pass rushers?!

8 sacks for a 3-4 D-End is very very good. His primary job is to take up blockers and stop the run.

That's right. Put a healthy AD behind him all year and that side is inpenetrable.

Seymour had 8 sacks, thats not all that great. All i know is that when this team cant get a damn pass rush next year, dont complain!!!

Dude, you continue to show to everyone that you don't know what you are talking about. 8 sacks for a 3-4 DE leads the league at that position. Seymour isn't a glorified Dwight Freeney who just rushes the Passer. Seymour's primary job is to tie up the O-linemen. So, getting 8 sacks is damn good.

My thoughts exactly.I am not flaming here.Seymour is getting up there in age and like i said, Bruschi is on his last leg.

Yeah he 'll be thirty.

Seymour isnt Dwight Freeny, he is not in his league.Seymour dissapears in alot of games.I wanted this team to get an athletic DE/OLB.

Crable is actually as much a rookie as any chosen today - If any expect an immediate impact from Crabel you are an idiot,It will take time

Please read up on the 3-4 D before you post agian.

Sorry, but there is only a perceived hole at a position. And its perceived by fans, not necessarily the Patriots Staff. And that is what you and every one else who is b!tching and moaning need to remember. in fact, You can ***** and moan and yell and scream and complain until you get blue in the face, but it doesn't mean that you know what BB and the staff are thinking.

Fine, there's no hole at the OLB position and Woods, Tully (who we let go because he couldn't hold the edge when relied upon full time) and Redd are capable of filling in for Vrabel. It's the same argument I heard with respect to the WR corp in '05.

That's true. Seymour is in the HOF league. Freeney is in the fantasy football league.

Please stop. You don't know what you are talking about.

Seymour is considered one of the best 3-4 DEs in the league. Freeney couldn't handle that position. Its why Freeney is a 3-4 DE Pass Rush Specialist. Unlike you, I understand the difference.

As for what you want. WHO CARES. Not us and certainly not the Patriots. You've shown you don't understand this team's defense so you really just need to stop posting and go read some threads so you can actually LEARN about this team, about the offense and defense that it runs and how the Pats go about filling the needs so they can run those systems.

We still have holes at LB, Im guessing BB will try to trade for a decent veteran during the draft tommoro.

What about Crable?

There's a hole but there's still time and options to plug it. I was as pissed as anyone about the 2006 (not 2005) WR situation, but we're not there yet.

Like i said, dont b when this team cant get a pass rush next year.I start to wonder what Pioli would have doned.I am happy with chung and Butler but the DT?

Wotan - Please. You are wrong on TBC. TBC wasn't let go. His contract was up and he wanted to see what other teams were offering.

BTW, you should really read what is said instead of showing that you don't. You'd sound less like D-Money and more like someone that might offer up something worth reading.

And no, you didn't hear the same argument in 2005 because the situation isn't even remotely similar.

^What about him? Excellent college player who's coming back from IR as a rookie and who's done nothing in the league. If he pans out and turns out to be player, then that gravy. I'm not banking on it though. OLB is too important a position on this defense if he doesn't pan out.

Is that really a word? It's the second time you've doned used it.

The NT who is going to help solidify two of the weakest parts of this team in the Goal line team and the short yardage team?

Now, as for your other comment about Pioli. Its obvious what the TEAM would have done. And that is the same thing. Because BB has the final say on player moves.

And, if anyone is going to be B!TCHING about the pass rush, its you.

yeah, what have today's draft picks doned in the league, you idiot?

I still wonder of BB is thinking of pulling the trigger of old mad Willie to return and taking the OLB draft lightly with this in mind ... Jason Taylor is also a reason I am sure
