The Patriots are hardly in uncharted waters here, the team is quite used to Bill Belichick’s staff being raided during the off-season, and this one like the others, will be handled, mainly from within as has been his modus operandi. But who fills these positions will bear watching.

While many of the starters won’t see a ton of snaps which will probably end by the first quarter but it doesn’t mean that the game isn’t a compelling watch.
The Patriots have been searching for depth for their edge players as Ninkovich and Jones the past few years have been playing far too many snaps. Jones was injured and missed six games upon his return in 2014. Now the pieces are in place for them to do exactly that.
