New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon is in the midst of a historic start to his 2022 season for the Patriots.
Through nine games, Judon leads the NFL in sacks with 11.5 and is on pace to break the record for most in a single season by a Patriot, and maybe even league history.
On Tuesday, it appears the “NFL Madden” video game series took note of Judon’s ever-improving season, and upped his overall rating to 99, the highest any player can receive.
The changes, albeit unconfirmed by Madden’s developer, EA Sports, would place Judon alongside fellow top linebackers Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald as its 99 overall defenders.
Judon took to Twitter on Tuesday and shared a screenshot of his updated rating while thanking EA Sports.

Judon will look to keep adding to his sack total when the Patriots return home off the bye week to play the New York Jets on Sunday.
