The first overall pick in the 1993 NFL Draft out of Washington State, quarterback Drew Bledsoe became one of the cornerstone franchise players in the early years of Robert Kraft’s ownership of the New England Patriots.
Over the course of the following nine seasons, Bledsoe helped the Patriots reach their second Super Bowl, earn three Pro Bowl invites, and later a spot in the team Hall of Fame. Bledsoe retired from the NFL in 2007 following stints with the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys.
Fast forward to Wednesday, the Patriots released a mini-documentary covering Bledsoe’s post-football career working in the wine industry.
In this video, Robert Kraft takes a trip to Bledsoe’s “Doubleback Wine” vineyard in his hometown of Walla Walla, Washington.
