Terrell Owens was always known throughout his career as a prolific deep threat wide receiver, but also a showmen at the same time who loved to have the cameras around him. Whether it was crying in defense of his star quarterback, or telling fans to “get their popcorn ready” T.O. always was in the spotlight for better or worse.

Owens has not played in an NFL game since 2010 with the Cincinnati Bengals. The last time he stepped on a football field for a game was January 2012 for the small town Indoor Football League’s Allen (TX) Wranglers but was released “for showing a lack of effort both on and off the field.” The Seattle Seahawks later reached out for the 2012 NFL season by offering Owens a One-Year, $925,000 contract, but was released in August before the season began.

Fast forward to today, Owens is 42 years of age, and is once again trying to find away back to the game that made him who he was, this time trying to get noticed by the injury plagued New England Patriots by offering up his services.

It all began with this Instagram post below following a fan’s attempt to get him signed.

But the campaign hasn’t stopped there, earlier this week this picture surfaced on Owens Instagram account and a Facebook post with the comment “Who wouldn’t want to see this?”

Lastly, on Thursday Owens made a point to reference Brady’s unlikely catch last week against the Philadelphia Eagles in this Facebook posting below.

Unfortunately for Owens, head coach Bill Belichick isn’t exactly one for paying attention to Social Media.
