We've been mostly passing this year, especially since Morris got hurt.
I know we've run well at times, but we haven't done it consistantly as of late.
We're also coming off two games that were very close to teams that played tough, hit you in the mouth defense. Plus we looked terrible stopping the run against the ravens. We've lost colvin. The weather is making it tougher to pass.
This has all lead up to people, and maybe even some pats fans, wondering if this team will be able to be just as tough to beat down the stretch as they have been thus far.
This game will answer that question. There's no doubt the pats will need to stop the run. There's no doubt they'll need to prove they can still pass when:
1) THE WEATHER'S NOT GREAT
2) THE OPPONENT IS TRYING TO BULLY YOUR RECEIVERS
AND CAN THEY RUN THE BALL WELL, CONSISTANTLY, WITHOUT MORRIS, AGAINST A QUALITY OPPONENT.
I think there's no question the pats can answer all these questions. I'll just feel a whole lot better to see them do it !
